Chapter FourteenOur visit with Father David proved more useful than originally thought. When I got home that afternoon, I went straight on the laptop and, after a couple hours, had pages and pages of notes on what I’d discovered.
Turns out there is some sort of evidence, after all. In magazine interviews and YouTube videos and blogs there are hundreds, maybe thousands, of people claiming they went to Heaven, or had visits from their dead loved ones’ spirits. Okay, some are clearly crazy; there was an eight-page-long post written by a man who was sure the spirit of his chihuahua was opening his Bible every night. But there was some realistic stuff too, by people who seemed in a pretty sound mental state.
