Chapter SixteenI don’t really know where today went, but it’s 4 pm and I’m only just getting dressed. I woke up this morning—I think—and the day didn’t feel real. I felt weird, like I was a cartoon or something. So I went back to sleep. Mum knocked on my door at lunchtime with a sandwich and a drink for me, but I can’t have eaten it because it’s still on the side now. I just remember my head feeling fuzzy, like the TV when it’s not connected to a channel and it’s all static. And my stomach felt all knotted: like I needed to throw up, but I also needed a hamburger. God, it was horrible. Anyway. Eventually Jenna woke me up and forced me to down the water Mum brought in and have a shower. I feel more alive now, but I’m not sure if the fuzzy headache will ever go away. ‘Knock, knock!’ Jenn
