With a mix of worry and fear, Alexander pushed open the door, revealing Sapphire lying on the floor. He rushed to her side, his heart pounding in his chest, he couldn’t loose her like this not now that he needed her the most.
"Sapphire, Sapphire what happened? Are you hurt?" he said, his voice filled with concern as he shook her unconscious body violently.
The guards taht stood at the door rushed inside to see why Alexander was shouting and when they saw Sapphire on the ground they didn’t know who to hold responsible for her condition.
As he knelt down beside her, he noticed a faint glow surrounding her, indicating that a spell had indeed been cast on her. His mind raced, trying to figure out how something of that manner happened to her and how he was unable to see it coming.
