“This is where you will be staying for now, it used to be my mother’s room” Alexander said as he led Sapphire into the room and she looked around scanning every detail. It was a simple room with a queen sized mattress and the most beautiful rug Sapphire had seen in a while.
“I thought I will be staying in your quarters?” Sapphire said wondering if he changed his mind.
“And you are, my room is next door” Alexander said.
“That’s not really what quaters mean where I come from” Sapphire said chuckling a little bit.
“What do you mean?” Alexander said curiously.
“In my pack house, quarters simply means a room for one person” Sapphire said and Alexander nodded his head in understanding.
