Alexander's fury burned as he summoned the guards to the throne room, they all came in one after the other and he was patient enough till they were complete.
"Alright, I want answers! Who left his duty post during the time of the attack? And don’t you dare lie to me” Alexander said as his eyes turned black.
The guards stood before him, nervously shifting their weight. One of them finally spoke up,
"My Lord, we swear we did our best to protect the citadel. We were on duty, but we didn't see or hear anything unusual."
"Someone here is betraying us! I won't rest until I find out who, so if you have any idea who it mught be who better start speaking up before I take matters more seriously?" Alexander's gaze pierced through them and he could see some of them becoming afraid.
