: My first day (school)

Waking up on another but different day. Today is really a different day. Debbie is going to start school here in Japan!!! She knew Japan has the best educational system, but how is it going to be around the students, are the students as nice as Ren and Himari. This thought keep racing in Debbie's mind. she sigh and get down from the bed, she quickly had her bath, dressed herself up in her beautiful uniform, dressed her hair leaving it in a ponytail style, she wears her earings and applied a light makeup. she ran downstairs, Dan was also ready

"I guess we're not late" Dan told his sister when he saw the way she raced down the stairs.

"I Know..... Are you anxious about your new school?" Debbie asked her brother.

" No I'm not. Most of my new friends are also going to the school so why will I be anxious. I Know you are" Dan said laughing

"You are lucky, I don't even Know if any of my friends are going there"

"I guess they'll be there" Dan said nodding his head like as if he has seen them

" How did you know?"

"Every child here, attends that school. This is a rich society where every parent want the best for their children. And not to talk of our school, which is marked one of the best around here. so? who wouldn't send there child there" Dan explained to her.

"wow! I love your point" Debbie said smiling

"Wait!! Didn't you ask your friends which school they attend?" Dan asked, confused.

"We didn't talk about that" Debbie said

" Girls can be funny at times" He laughed.

" It high time you guys started speaking Japanese language" Sara said handling their lunchbox to each of them.

" Mom. How many times have I told you that a big boy like me shouldn't be seen around carrying lunchbox" Dan said returning his lunch box back to his mum.

"I'll prefer to stay hungry than carry that" he said pointing to his lunch box.

"Ok bye. Have a nice day my babies. May God be with you."Sara said waving at them.

"Another mistake I need to correct, we are not babies, you can call Debbie a baby but don't call a baby. I'm a big boy. Being Thirteen years isn't a joke" Dan said leaving.

Debbie and Sara sigh

"ok mum, bye for now. I really love you. And thank you for the food. I'm going to finish everything." Debbie said and gave her mum a kiss.

Debbie hurriedly runs to the car and takes the front seat beside her dad who's driving.

The car raced off.

Debbie keep looking at the busy streets. well Maybe today is Monday.

Thirty five minutes later The car arrived at this immense building. Debbie kept looking at the school, it was more beautiful and bigger than what she expected.

"aren't you getting down" Nicolas asked disrupting her thoughts.

Debbie followed her dad to the principal's office.

At the principal's office, The principal welcomed them with a warm smile. Her name is Mrs Tanaka. Her appearance dictate how rich she is. She's currently in her late 40s. She sat them down and started with the rules and regulations guiding the school. The school opens by 8:00am while classes starts by 8:45am. She told Debbie to remove her earings, because jewelries are not allowed in the school, she also told Debbie to loose her hair, because ponytail or other hair styles aren't allowed, chewing gum and eating snacks in classes are not permitted even reading books while eating or walking is prohibited. School closes by 4:00pm, the senior class 1 and 2 are allowed to study till 7:30pm. Mrs Tanaka urge Debbie never to get involved in a fight. She called on of her workers to take Debbie to the vice principal's office.

Debbie was taken to the vice principal's office. He is a man in his late fifties. His name is Mr Ohno. His face seems old, he has a gray hair and usually wears glasses. Mr Ohno took Debbie to the teacher staff room. Immediately she entered all eyes were on her. She was taken to her teacher whose name is Mrs Suzuki. Mrs Suzuki is a very young looking woman, she's in her early 30s. She seems gentle and kind.

"Hello. Your name is Wilson Debbie" Mrs Suzuki asked Debbie in a Japanese language.

" Yes ma'am" Debbie replied in a Japanese language too.

"I'm happy you understand Japanese, I hope we'll maintain a good Teacher and students relationship. Your Japanese name is Hana( first love/favorite)." Mrs Suzuki asked Debbie, writing some words in a big book.

"yes ma'am"

" Follow me" Mrs Suzuki said leaving the office.

The went up climbing the stairs to the middle floor, entered a hallway and they reached the class. She told Debbie to wait outside until she calls for her.

Mrs Suzuki entered the classroom. The classroom is a well decorated and arranged class. There are Thirty seats in the classroom, each seats were paired in twos making it three rows and five columns. There is the students locker at the back of the class and a white board with a big television screen beside it. Suzuki marked the attendance list. She told them about the new girl. Everyone were anxious to see her, because someone has let the cat out of the bag by telling the class how beautiful she is.

Meanwhile, Debbie is tired of the looks she gets from passer by teachers and students. She sigh a sign of relief when she was asked to enter.

Before Debbie entered, she could hear the students clapping, but immediately she entered the class, the whole class was as silent as the grave, all eyes were on her.

"I'm Debbie Willson From the United States of America. My Japanese name is Hana. Nice to meet you" Debbie said shyly bowing her head. she could see some boys wrinkling their eyes and smiling at her, while some girls are frowning their faces.

Debbie was told to sit at the back very close to the window. She was very happy at least she will be able to view the school field and compound.

She reached her seat, just then her partner tapped her. It was Hamari!!!

"Oh!! Why didn't I see her" Debbie thought

"I guess you didn't notice us" Hamari whispered softly pointing to Ren, who was listening to the Teacher teaching.

"Didn't he notice me" Debbie asked Hamari

" When he is in class he's always different" Hamari answered.

During break, Hamari took Debbie around to view the school, She showed her the way to the library, swimming pool, basketball room, field, computer room, school hospital, broadcasting room, and other places she needed to know.

Hamari and Debbie went to the cafeteria, Hamari sighted a girl from afar. She called Debbie to catch the sight of her.

" That's Yua. The 'queen' of the school"

Hamari said putting the word Queen in inverted coma.

"She's beautiful, attractive, neat, brilliant and very rich but she's too proud. She doesn't bully directly but uses her gangs, every where she goes. Nobody can compete with her, She always takes the third position in the whole senior class 1. She's Reo's girlfriend." Hamari explained.

"who's Reo" Debbie asked

"awwwwwwww He's the most richest and Handsome guy. He isn't around today. whenever he is around you would have been hearing screams from girls. I'll leave this for another day. I'm hungry"

Hamari said.

Debbie shared her lunch with Hamari.

It is time to go back to class, on their way, some girls called Hamari, she excused herself to meet them. Debbie had to wait for Hamari. She saw Ren coming from the library alone, He passed beside Debbie as if he didn't see her. Debbie knows fully well that he saw her. She was heartbroken, Well her plan was never to fall in love again.

"Boys are the same. They love hurting one's feeling especially their opposite sex." Debbie thought.

Debbie couldn't wait anymore, she didn't see Hamari around. Debbie thought she has gone to play. So she went to the class.

In the class she saw Ren teaching a particular group of students. She went to open her locker intending to read her book, a paper fell, some beautiful words were in it. It read thus:

" Make sure you hold this paper tight. I didn't intend to pass you by without greeting you but I had to do so for some reason which I'll tell you when we see.

from your new friend

Sato Ren♥️♥️♥️"

Debbie smiled and kept the letter back. Her heart was in peace now.

After school, Debbie met Hamari.

"Where have you been" Debbie asked.

"I went out with those girls, they are my friend" Hamari answered. She placed her hands on Debbie's shoulders

"What do we have for dinner" Hamari jokingly asked as they walked out of the classroom.

On their way out they were stopping by some girls, they were the same girl who called Hamari during break.

"Hamari, you better be around tomorrow, you've got more work to do" Yui, a tall, pretty girl said Hitting Hamari with her fingers.

"Oh you have a new friend. Hello beauty!" She said sarcastically and went away with her friends.

"She's irritating. Are this your so called friends" Debbie asked, only to see Hamari crying.

"what happened" Debbie asked. As Hamari was about to answer, her mum came in a car to pick Hamari.

Hamari went to her mom and waved at Debbie.

"what is wrong with Hamari" Debbie thought.
