The big wolf smirked. Clearly, it delighted him to say what he just told me.
"I do NOT belong in your pack!" I gritted.
"Do you know your great granddaddy? Alpha Kai? He founded the Night Storm. So you literally belong in the pack!"
"What about your fiancée?" I asked him. "Don't you think she'd hate the idea of your a former fated mate sticking around? She seemed curious already. What will you tell her?"
