Sophie POV
My eyes grew blurry from the repulsion and fury as I was forcefully dragged into the building. I screamed and kicked, struggling against Rodney. But he was no longer alone all of sudden. There were too many hands now. One of them struck me and snapped,
"Shut up!" It was the mistress.
They put a cloth over my mouth to shut me up. Sabrina suddenly appeared. She was speaking to others. Perhaps, Vera and Kyle.
"You two were supposed to restrain her! You can't do your jobs. That's why she has the audacity to resist! I will have you reassigned immediately."
I was already restrained. Rodney was twice my size and a trained gamma. He had both my hands around my back.
"Stay still, damn it!" He groaned against me. "You will do your duty!"
Then Sabrina and the mistress moved closer.
