Julian opened the door to his office, gesturing for her to go in. "Ladies first..." he smiled.
Larisa nodded, walking by him on her way in.
Inside was simple; dull, white walls and a large sliding window with two planter pots below it. Other than that, there was a desk that had a few papers scattered across it, along with a lamp and a computer. There was also a long, L-shaped sofa with a glass table in front of it, and a bookshelf in the corner that had two cupboards at the top.
Julian walked in behind her, going directly for the shelf. "You can sit on the couch. Get comfy."
Larisa did as told, ignoring the little fear trickling in her heart and instead focusing on her goal.
