A Bitter End

Sun Wukong had a sly grin on his face as he faced the man who towered him with over four feet in height difference.  Though, he was trapped inside a cage but the look on his face was far from despair. "I am not the one who needs rescuing," Sun Wukong replies him sharply. "Your foolhardy attitude is most amusing, I will have to destroy you but to go about it, I will first bring your friends here, give them the worst form of suffering imaginable in the omniverse right in your prescence, then after that, I would destroy them, then you would be nothing more than my clown of pain and suffering for all eternity." "Are you the god of wisdom or the god of boredom," Sun Wukong smiled putting his hands to his lips.  "Because of all you said, there's no iota of sense or wisdom, just boring and meaningless talks," As Sun Wukong said that, he bowed his head lower as he smiled to himself.  "Now you are going to say, you impertinent brat, I shall show you the true power of a god." "You impertinent brat!!!" Laozi shouted.  "I shall show you the true power of a god." As he said that, red streaks of energy radiated all over his arm.   "These energy are made up of miasma found in the highest heaven, none of them the gods could forge it as they lacked the understanding to create it, I on the other hand supreme in wisdom and knowledge was able to covert the peaceable and soothing aura in heaven to an energy which is capable of lynching a god, I shall first test it on you but by my calculations, it should be enough to finish even a god, even though the theory of a findings seem valid given all things being equal and the remaining factors remaining constant, there's need for the practicals," Laozi grinned evilly as he pointed at the Monkey King.  "And I shall use your pathetic life to test my findings." As he said that, he expelled the energy towards Sun Wukong's direction, as the streak of energy was about to hit Sun Wukong, his staff which laid at the far end of the room suddenly stood up and appeared in front of him, spinning and making several revolutions speedily in a miniscule amount of time in an upright position, the staff deflected the streak of energy back at the god of wisdom. "AHHHRGGHH!!!!" The god of wisdom began to scream in pain as his entire body faded away. With his body fading away, the cage where Sun Wukong was suddenly vanished and as it did, Kredek and Dishra became visible. "That was one tough plan, I actually didn't believe it would work," Dishra said breathing heavily. "Yeah," Kredek said in Sun Wukong's direction.  "I thought just like your life, everything would go wrong but this, it's simply shocking." "You could have just said Thanks," Sun Wukong gritted at him, red filling his forehead. "I don't understand something though," Dishra began as he looked at Sun Wukong's direction.  "How did you know he wouldn't sense us?" "It's a no brainer," Sun Wukong smiled.  "Laozi was someone who's extremely prudent and careful, based on his meticulous attitude, I knew he was practically tracking us by getting the exact measure of our essence so what I did was allow my staff absorb some of your essence and also make you two invisible, when that was done, I predicted everything Laozi would say when he encountered us, then I rigged my staff to come exactly to protect me whenever Laozi uttered findings, I already had it all in the bag, it's not shocking, I am the smartest amongst the three of us." "I disagree," Dishra began getting flustered.  "Majority of my plans have gone the way I intended it to be, this is your first plan that wasn't a total screwup." "Well, my success here totally beats your others as this is against a God, there's a prestige it carries," Sun Wukong had a smug grin on his face. "There a fine line between prestige and failure," the trio couldn't help but shake in fear as they heard that voice, they turned towards the owner of the voice and standing right before them was the god of wisdom, Laozi. "I don't understand," Sun Wukong began.  "How are you still alive, my staff is a good detector of essence, it sensed that the malevolent aura present in that red streak of energy was present to destroy you but here you stand, still alive." "Do you want to know the difference between a dimensional being and a being who's beyond dimensions?" Laozi asked, he regarded the three who were before him like they were mere children.  "Beings that still fall under dimensional plane of existence can't resurrect themselves as they require their will or minds to do it but a being above dimensions, so long his essence is still present, since he operates beyond dimensional plane of existence, he can still resurrect, I had a feeling your friends had not left as I extended my prescence to perceive all that was going on in this Omniverse and yet, I couldn't see any Essence that resembled perfectly that of your friends, I knew you were playing a fundamental trick on me and you had possibly predicted my initial course of action, so as to find out what you were up to without arousing any form of suspicion, I had delibrately done what I had intended to do so I could see what you want to do," Laozi said as he walked towards Sun Wukong.  "You are the youngest amongst the trio but yet you are unnecessarily mischievous and cheeky, your existence is not needed, if I left you to live longer, you would find a way to eliminate me, I have to destroy you and I have to do it now." "I don't want to die," Sun Wukong thought to himself, his teeth chattering but finally he spoke as he bowed his head.  "Ooh great one, Laozi, the god of unparalleled wisdom and immutable knowledge, I have much to offer, take me under your wing and I will show you that I am more useful to you alive than dead." "Stone Monkey," Dishra said in his direction.  "What the f**k are you doing, I thought we promised we would never give up to the very end, we'd fight and never let any adversary see our faces bowed." "Yes," Kredek said.  "You used to be all might, now you are just all talk." "Silence!!!!!" Laozi's voice roared in the room. "An organism must maintain silence when it's in front of it's superiors." "Thanks," Kredek smiled with spite obvious in his eyes.  "I'd remember that in case I ever meet one." "You impertinent brat," Laozi shouted as he dashed towards Kredek, connecting his fist towards his head, he punched him sending him flying several miles backwards. "You bastard," Dishra cursed.  "Don't touch my friends that way," but almost immediately, Sun Wukong appeared in his front, he held his staff. "What are you doing?" Dishra asked.  "Laozi just beat up our friend, why are you facing me instead of him, he's the enemy here." "He would be the enemy if we were still friends," Sun Wukong told him sharply.  "I have changed my alliances, it's useless trying to fight against him, there's no way we can defeat him as even if we did, he would just resurrect, we have no hope of defeating him and I can't pretend any longer than we do, I want to live, there are dreams I have, p*****s I am yet to f**k, I haven't even cavorted with Xiwangmu yet and until I do," Sun Wukong had a fiery glint in his eyes.  "I can't succumb to death, I will live forever as I don't intend to die, I love life too much to forsake it." "Really," Kredek spat out blood from his mouth as he got to his feet.  "Is that really all your loyalty is worth, you really never change, you are always thinking of yourself first before others." "Stone Monkey, don't go down this path," Dishra said, he had a terrified look on his face.  "You are our friend, we don't wanna lose you." "No correction, I am your friend but that don't make you my friend," Sun Wukong said as he released an outburst of energy from his staff, the energy emanated from the staff, it connected with Dishra sending him several miles backwards till he hit Kredek, as that occured, the two of them dropped to the ground. "I am sick of this crap!!" Kredek grunted as he stood up from the ground.  "It's time we beat some sense into him," he told Dishra bluntly. "But...." "No buts, I am doing this my way," Kredek told him dismissively as he jumped towards Sun Wukong with his sword, swiping his sword towards Sun Wukong but Sun Wukong dodged narrowly causing Kredek to hit the thin air.   Sun Wukong put his fingers together summoning many doppelgangers which proceeded to attack Kredek, Kredek grinned to himself as he summoned several giants who met the Sun Wukong force that was assigned to him on equal footing, Sun Wukong and Kredek began to exchange blows and hits causing the very plane where the stood to begin to reverberate. "You are mind controlling Sun Wukong," Dishra said in Laozi's direction.  "He's our friend, stop it." "You seem to be the most intuitive of the three individuals," Laozi smiled at him, there was a sinister aura which emanated from him as he smiled.  "You should know that obviously, I don't have him in my grasp, everything that Sun Wukong is doing is purely out of his choice and decision, I am influencing none of it." Dishra looked over at his friend, Sun Wukong as he battled Kredek, they seemed to be on equal footing, none of the two of them was giving in and they replied every attack with a strong counterattack, even counterattack were met with counterattacks, it was a tense and fiery fight. "Sun Wukong," Dishra began.  "Remember the oath we made," he said as tears began to drop from his eyes.  "We promised we were gonna fight together, we said we would explore the Omniverse, we would go on thousands of adventures and mysteries, remember the time you freed Kredek, you called him friend, you are our friend and nothing can ever change that, I love you even more than a woman her child, I know you are scared, you can't see any way by which we would defeat Laozi but we have been in countless situations like that several times but so long we worked and trusted in each other, we always prevailed and I know we will, Sun Wukong, I know we will but we can't do it without you, that's why I need you to snap out of it, come back to us, I need you, no, Kredek and I need you." "Speak for yourself," Kredek said fiercely.  "I don't need him, he's but a useless piece of s**t, all he needs is some clobbering of sense into his thick-headed empty skull." "This is good bye," Sun Wukong said as he made a motion with his fingers, as he did, runes which were shining with the crimson color appeared on Kredek and Dishra's bodies, it was shining quite brightly, Dishra and Kredek immediately had looks of concern on thier faces but they didn't show any fear, it was more of a surprise as to what those runes represent or mean.  "I had a feeling there was a day that would come when I would need to defeat the two of you to ascend to the top, the top was always my aim, you two were but obstructions to me reaching that goal," Sun Wukong said as he changed the pose his fingers were locked in.  "Don't get me wrong, it was fun, the times we shared, if I had a chance to redo it all again, I would be with you guys, I enjoyed the battles we fought together, the crystals we inhaled together, the p*****s we f****d together, the archverses we invaded and destroyed together, the higher dimensional beings we fought and defeated together, you two were the best friend any one could ever ask for but I don't need a friend, it's not beneficial in the goal I have set out to achieve, what I need to be is at the top and I am willing to let go of anything that will prevent me from reaching my desired goal." Kredek and Dishra could feel their bodies getting weaker and fading. "The seals engraved in your bodies is one of the things I learnt during our innumerable travels, it's unique in the sense that it begins to diminish your life force while causing you excruciating and unbearable pain, as you might have noticed, it also disables every form of hax and abilities, the problem with this technique is that it only affects 100D beings and lower," Sun Wukong continued.  "I knew I didn't stand a chance against you two even one on one as you two were even smarter than I am, that's why I engraved those seals, it's time to say goodbye." Kredek and Dishra as they were on the ground couldn't but grunt in pain, they could feel intense pain beyond thier wildest imaginations course through their body, Dishra had began to cry not because of the pain he was feeling but because he was losing his friend, he had really loved Sun Wukong. Kredek on the other hand held his tears inside. "Dishra is hurting," Kredek thought to himself.  "I am hurting too, goddamn it, I loved Sun Wukong like no else, I also loved Dishra and that's why I can't forgive Sun Wukong, for letting Dishra suffer like that, even if he just betrayed me, I'd let it slide, at least if it was to make him happy but for him to hurt Dishra like that, it's unforgivable." "This is enough drama!!!" Laozi's voice roared around the room as he suddenly appeared beside Sun Wukong.  "My liege," Sun Wukong started by bowing his head low.  "Should I prove my loyalty to you by destroying this maggots that invaded on your domain." "That would be unnecessary," Laozi said in Sun Wukong's direction.  "You are quite the ambitious fellow, you are trying to gain my trust now so you could use it against me in the future to try and destroy me, all you seek is the top, you have no morality or loyalty, you only care about yourself, types like you are the most dangerous weeds around and I have learnt enough from experience that when a weed is left with plants, even if it's just one weed, the entire plantation shall eventually meet it's ruin," As Laozi said that, he snapped his fingers wiping Sun Wukong from existence. The runes on Dishra and Kredek disappeared as Sun Wukong was wiped out from existence.   Laozi looked on the ground, he could still see Sun Wukong's staff lying on the ground.   "That's strange," he thought to himself.  "When I wiped Sun Wukong from existence, everything with any form of relation to him is supposed to be wiped, like his two friends, I can view all their memories, all the ones which involved Sun Wukong have instantly vanished but yet why does his staff still linger, I thought it was brought with him when he first originated, is it that his staff is a separate entity apart from Sun Wukong, well, there's only one way to find out what's going on," Laozi said as he looked over in Kredek and Dishra's direction. "Do you want to know what I did to Sun Wukong?" "Who's that?" Dishra asked. "Where are we? Who are you?" Kredek asked in his direction. "These two are exactly as I can see," Laozi smiled, as he did, the two of them disappeared from the spot where they were, as he did, Sun Wukong's staff immediately floated above the ground and shot towards Laozi, Laozi caught it with his other arm as he thought to himself. "I have scattered those two simpletons across a faraway archverse, they shall bother me no more, I was also able to confirm my suspicions regarding the staff, it must be a separate entity from Sun Wukong itself, it's really fascinating, how it could deflect energy streaks capable of bypassing a God's unparalleled invincibility and invulnerability, I will study it and with time, I will be able to replicate weapons on par with the potency of the weapon I now wield, ooh, this is far too exciting I could rejoice, nothing excites me than the dawn if a new innovative breakthrough." (The present) Sun Wukong couldn't help but cry as he reappeared in one of the lower heavens, it was shortly after he had completely destroyed his two best only friends, he could remember the times they spent together, all the fun they have had, all the adventures they went on and yet, he had to destroy them. "I had wanted Laozi to wipe me out of existence then," Sun Wukong thought to himself.  "That was the only way he would be sure I was gone and I could achieve Godhood, what he didn't know was that I had predicted that and therefore split myself into two, with that done, I kept the significant part of myself in the staff and let the other out, the fake was what Laozi wiped from existence, what he didn't know was that as he held my staff, I was slowly siphoning his essence until I had absorbed it all and destroyed him without him even knowing, I felt so bad about myself as I had to hurt my only two best friends to do it, that was why I didn't want anything to do with them," Sun Wukong said as he wiped the tears from his eyes, looking forward with determination and fire in his eyes.  "but now, I have a mission, to stand atop and be below none, I have to consider every possiblity even if my world is but a mere work of fiction in another, I will rise above the world above mine and still dominate it, I am tired of being subjected and controlled by others, it's time I change my fate, I shall outsmart all those who think they can manipulate my fate and overcome every challenge that stands in my way, Kredek and Dishra, you two were the best people I ever know, you shouldn't have known a piece of s**t like me but unfortunately you did, I loved you guys, I really did but I love being number one even more and I shall attain that position no matter what." ************************************ Zhangshun Shan drove speedily on his bike forward with Ashley behind him, hugging him tightly, at his right side was Ken who was driving his Lamborghini.  Coming from his left side was Sui Wenyan whom appeared to be in a haste and directly above him was Qui Si who appeared to be high in the air, she landed directly before Zhangshun Shan before muttering a few words and jumping several miles high again into the bare space. "This is absolutely wonderful," Zhangshun Shan began with his most devious smile.  "We are about to get to the most intense part of the race, everyone, follow me." "I wouldn't exactly recommend that, various vehicles are at conflict with one another and it isn't exactly the one on one fights we have been having earlier, this requires paitence else it will be impossible to scale through in one piece." "I am Zhangshun Shan," Zhangshun Shan began with his most utmost confidence.  "Before me, nothing shall be impossible." As he said that, he drove off speedily passing even Qui Si who was even high in the air, Zhangshun Shan got to the most intense part of the race, he could see several vehicles firing different forms of ammunition at each other.  Fireballs, energy balls, ice balls and various supernatural offensive attacks flying at each other. Zhangshun Shan grinned confidently to himself. "Ashley, you might wanna hang on tight," Zhangshun Shan said as he kept driving, a man in a small frogger helicopter spotted Zhangshun Shan on the ground, handling the controls in his vehicle, he sent out about four missiles towards Zhangshun Shan, Zhangshun Shan grinned as he saw the missiles approaching, moving towards a Chevrolet car, Zhangshun Shan hit the handle in such a way that the bike crouched on the ground, it passed between the space of the tyre of a vehicle as he came out from the other side, one of the missile collided with the vehicle just as Zhangshun Shan had exited the space in front of the vehicle, the collision caused the bike Zhangshun Shan was on to suddenly fly high in the sky, Ashley could feel her hair going wild.  Zhangshun Shan grinned to himself as he stood on the bike, looking in the direction of the helicopter which fired at him, some of the missiles were still approaching him and they seemed to be faster than when they were initially launched. "Martial arts style : small wind," Zhangshun Shan grinned as he blew towards the missiles, the missiles as a result of the great wind changed trajectory and hit the helicopter blowing it to bits, Zhangshun Shan appeared back on his bike as he landed on the ground.   "Let there be rain," he grinned and as he did, bits of the helicopter fell to the ground.  As that was done, the remaining of his teammates who had willingly stood back quickly rushed into the most intense part of the battle joining him. A vehicle on the ground had a plasma rifle suddenly materialize on the roof, it began to shoot at Zhangshun Shan but Zhangshun Shan dodged the laser beams easily, Zhangshun Shan gripped the handle hard and made a sharp turn towards the one who was firing at him, he fired at different angles but Zhangshun Shan evaded it all sometimes by causing his bike to slide on the ground, other times, it would appear as if it was flying as he would find bumps to give his vehicle air time. Zhangshun Shan finally got to the vehicle, mustering all the strength in his right arm, he hit it causing it to fly high in the air, Qui Si who was high in the air summoned her weapon and sliced it to hundreds of small pieces.  There were several aircrafts surrounding her but she wore a predatory look on her face. "Martial arts style : meteor shower," she said and as she did, meteors suddenly appeared around, they crash landed against the aircrafts destroying it as the debris fell to the ground, Sui Wenyan avoided the debris she could. "Martial arts style : great cyclone," she said as tornadoes suddenly materialize and began to cause vehicles to fly about in the air, the debris which fell from the skies made contact with the vehicles causing several explosions in the air. Zhangshun Shan grinned to himself as the two ladies appeared side by side with him. "Now," Zhangshun Shan grinned to himself.  "We are getting to the finish line, I am not accepting anything less than number one, you guys can compete with taking number 2 to 4 amongst yourselves."
