The Underworld

3503 Words
Mui Li was riding as speedily as he could on his donkey, as he rode, he gritted his teeth, he was arguably a fine man; possessing long blue hair which went past his shoulders, he had brown hazel eyes and lovely shaped lips. "I shouldn't have left her behind," he frowned as he gritted his teeth even more as he thought of the events that led up to his current scenario. He saw Ashley shuddering in fear immediately the race had begun, it didn't take a genius to figure out what happened to her, she had never seen anyone die in front of her, as a result witnessing the death of several people in such a gruesome manner had instantly put her in a state of fear and froze her. Mui Li felt pity for her, he really did, he wanted to move over to her, help and comfort her but he knew if he lingered, people who had gotten ahead in the race would set traps and also he needed to get a headstart if he wanted to have any hope in winning the race.  But even with all that, he could still have got to meet her but seeing Zhangshun Shan was a turn-off for him, how he hated the White-haired man. "There's no use beating myself up about what happened," Mui Li thought to himself but whilst he was still thinking, a wooden boulder big enough to be used as a pillar to support a 40 foot long bridge was immediately launched towards his direction. Mui Li reflexively jumped above his donkey and over the boulder. "Martial arts style : Katana creation," He said aloud as he stretched his right arm, once he did, a four feet long sword appeared in his right arm. "Didn't your ma teach you it's not nice to throw boulders at people," Mui Li said as he looked towards his right, it was surrounded by long pam trees and tall grasses, it was a perfect place to hide, his face was creased and he was obviously pissed. As he spoke, a man appeared from the tall grasses, he was dressed in a camouflage, he easily blended with his environment and he held an even longer boulder than the one he threw at Mui Li earlier. The man looked like he was in his mid-fifties, he was a Caucasian with short brown hair and black souless eyes, he had receeding hair lines and bent his back as he stood. "I don't see the essence of paying etiquette to someone I am about to kill," he responded with a snicker in his tone.  Mui Li's face got even more annoyed as he heard that snicker as it reminded him so much of Zhangshun Shan. "You brat!" Mui Li cried in his direction. "Did you just call me a brat?" The man asked innocently.  "That's quite funny as it's obvious you are in your mid thirties based on the dark patches under your eyes and the colour of your skin, it doesn't take a detective to know I am much older, you sure didn't mistake coming here for the hospital, I am pretty sure your appointment with the opthalmologist is waiting." "Bastard!!!!" Mui Li screamed as he jumped off his donkey, running towards the man, he screamed.  "People like you always piss me the f**k off, you think just cause you are smart makes you automatically better than everyone else, I am going to show you just how much irrelevant you are, there's no difference between you and a piece of shit." "Well then, it's a good thing you skipped your appointment for your health, your sense of Morale and discipline is also lacking, it's time I instill some in you," he grinned as he thought to himself.  "What a callous i***t, he does reverberate with great power, I could sense that while he rode on the donkey but the expressions on his face showed that he was internally conflicted with someone or something, he's an i***t for getting emotional at this moment, based on that, I know he's someone who can get easily enraged and emotional, he's quite an i***t, idiots are the easiest to defeat." While Mui Li was a few feet away from him, he gritted his teeth as he said.  "Martial arts style : giant flambo." As he spoke, the blade of his weapon became enclosed in red and blue flames which were about ten times the length of his sword, he swung it but the man jumped back. "You aren't just lousy mouthed and blind," the man smirked. "I am gonna wipe that ugly smirk of your face." "I wouldn't exactly call this look ugly, I mean your mother always had this look whenever I buried my seven feet boner inside her." "Urusei!!!!!" He screamed but almost immediately, the flames in his sword expanded towards his body, before Mui Li could react to the unprecedented development, it exploded sending him backwards, he was badly burnt as he crashed against the ground vehemently. "Now, you are going to say what happened," the man smiled. "What happened?" Mui Li said shakily as he struggled to get up. "You also have a form of cultivation, the name I am unaware but I too have my cultivation," The man smiled.   "It's known as lemming, what it basically does is convert the property of any basic element from one form to another, didn't you notice that when I threw my boulder earlier, you should have noticed you never heard it land, I was expecting you to dodge it from the very beginning, once it got behind you, it transformed to an heavy space of air, when you stupidly enclosed your sword in flames, you already made me the victor as the heavy air reacted with the flames factoring that explosion, you aren't just a blind lousy mouthed rude kid, you are also stupid, I wonder how you have managed to survive this long." "I was never one of the smartest," Mui Li frowned as he got up.  "I had seen various tricks in my life and I had fallen for the very same tricks even more than once, I had no problem with being tricked so long it was just fun but there was something which never stood right with me," As Mui Li spoke, his eyes began to brim with anger.  "People who were supposedly smarter than others always felt they were better because their intellect were supposedly superior, just because you are smarter than me don't make you any better than me, there are other sides to everyone than just brains, there's brawn, that's why I tried my hardest and trained under sweat and blood just to show all those self-absorbed bastards that brains doesn't necessarily guarantee superiority," Mui Li had gotten a grip on himself even though he was still staggering where he stood, pointing his weapon at the old man.  "I have showed countless supposedly smarter idiots like you that brains isn't the strongest force in the world, it's power, that's why mortals fear gods because of the extreme gap of power, no matter how smart you may be, you don't come close to me in strength, I will humble you and show you that the smart don't always win." "You talk too much," the old man smiled.  "Don't forget, my air is still around you, I can still manipulate it." As he spoke, Mui Li could feel himself getting enclosed in a glazier of ice. "Martial arts style : volley of arrows," Mui Li said, as he did, a volley of arrows appear above the middle-aged man, the middle-aged man as fast as he could took the other boulder which he carried, twirling it as fast as he could, he intercepted every arrow before they could hit him. Just as the wave of the arrows had finished, Mui Li appeared directly in front of him, Mui Li gritting his teeth in anger swung his weapon towards him, the Middle-aged man as fast as he could brought his boulder intercepting the sword, a shockwave was created causing the two of them to move further back. As that was done, Mui Li dashed towards the Middle-aged man, he was bleeding all over his body and was fast losing his blood. "What an i***t," the man thought.  "The kids bleeding all over, if he keeps up, he will die of excess blood-loss," Mui Li swung his sword clumsily in the man's direction but the man evaded carefully.  "But yet he never gives up, he isn't just fighting because he wants to defeat me, it's a battle of his will, he must have been put down a lot by supposedly smarter people, he wants to show brains aren't the only thing it takes to suceed, a man can get by just power alone but that's mere childish fantasy, it's time I educate him about the real world, the real world is cruel and just because you have talent doesn't always guarantee you'd always win, wits play a role to survive, the line, only the fittest survive doesn't just mean the strongest, it actually means the wittiest, only the witty one would be alive in the long run, I have to instill that in him." He smiled as he bends his fingers in a strange pose, as he did, long steel nails appear around Mui Li. Mui Li seeing the nails around him gritted his teeth, the nails sped towards him impaling him at all sides of his body. "Aghrgghhhh!!!!" He screamed as he dropped to the ground spitting blood. "Give up," the man grinned.  "You don't stand a chance." "And how do you know I don't," Mui Li gritted his teeth as he looked at the man angrily, before he could reply, Mui Li got to his feet.  "Lemme take a guess, you possibly have done a lot of calculations and anticipations each predicting that I would die possibly because I am losing blood, in other words, you think I have no chance because you are smart and you think you are better than me, I am sick and tired of people telling me what I can or cannot do simply because they are smarter, having more Brains doesn't necessarily make you superior or better, that's why I won't faint, that's why my mind shall not crumble and my body shall not die," Mui Li said as he pointed his sword at him.  "Brains don't always determine every outcome, there are other determinants and I am going to prove that to you." "Even though his stupidity is repelling and appalling," the middle-aged man thought as a smile curved on his lips.  "His determination is quite interesting, I would like to test the limits of it." *********************************** Change'e felt herself falling down a void, it was an absolute state of nothingness and darkness, she couldn't see anything. "I am away from the riders, my omnikinesis should be back," she told herself as she stretched her right arm, was she did, she stood on the bare space, once she did, light filled up the area, as the light did, she saw everything around her, there were floating skulls around her ranging from that of humans to animals and different other creatures found in the unfathomable Omniverses, the place didn't appear to have a roof or ground, it was just space and floating skulls surrounding the scenery. "I was never able to come here,"Change'e said, she was clearly amazed, "Xiwangmu and I never got along but this is the underworld, one of the finite 1A planes in existence." "Yep, it's a beauty, ain't it?" Came a voice behind her.  Change'e joyful expression immediately turned sour as she heard that voice, she could recognize it anywhere, it belonged to no other one but the god of mischief, Sun Wukong. In disbelief, Change'e turned towards the direction of the voice, standing before her was a 6'5 tall hybrid of a man and monkey, his long tail was curling as if trying to form a spiral.  He had a snicker on his face.  "How are you?" "This is impossible, how did you know where I was?" "Come on, tricks are my thing, trying to pinpoint your location is the only thing easier than taking candy from a baby," Sun Wukong began making his way towards her.  "Knowing you, you thought you were a pretty smart woman, that was why you married Hou Yi and dumped him, you never married him cause of love, you only did so because it was your one chance of becoming a goddess." "Do you have a problem with that?" Change'e said, she tried her best to maintain her demeanor.  "I shall do whatever it takes to achieve my goals and dreams, everyone has dreams and goals, the means is not necessary so long you achieve what you desire, you can even relate with this better than most so spare me your asinine ideals." "Relax, horny b***h," Sun Wukong continued.  "I never said you were wrong, just wanted to see what you were going to say, I like my women feisty before I kill them, there's this euphoria it gives me." Change'e swiped her two arms in a circular fashion, as she did, arrows from the riders of dark that she had taken suddenly appeared and dashed over to Sun Wukong. Sun Wukong leaped towards the incoming arrows, outstretching his right arm, his long staff which was roughly seven feet tall materialized, swiping it as fast as he could, he intercepted all the arrows, almost immediately as he did, Change'e appeared directly in front of him, she was holding a long sword, she had taken it from one of the riders of dark unknowingly to him, it was thanks to the confusion that Pangu's beasts had caused. She swiped it towards Sun Wukong, Sun Wukong dodged narrowly but that wasn't enough as Change'e switched the position of the hilt on her arm, doing that, she connected her elbow to Sun Wukong's chests, Sun Wukong smiled as he transformed to gas, from behind Change'e, Sun Wukong's staff materialized and proceeded downwards to hit her, Change'e anticipating it moved her sword towards it, shockwaves manifested causing the entire underworld to reverberate and also, Sun Wukong attained it's form forcefully. The two gods fly backwards both still staring at each other, the intent to murder apparent in Change'e eyes, Sun Wukong on the other hand looked like he was enjoying himself. "With a face like that, even a dildo wouldn't get turned on," Sun Wukong taunted.  Change'e readied her weapon in a battle ready manner as she leaped above the ground again towards Sun Wukong, Sun Wukong ran towards her twirling his staff so fast that it couldn't be seen by mortal eyes. The two were engaged in a battle, weapons hitting weapons, thier battle so intense the underworld was cracking and falling apart. "I have to find a way to change the tides of this battle in my favour," Change'e thought as she swiped her blade towards Sun Wukong's head, he dodged it in a manner that made him look as if he was break dancing.  As if trying to reciprocate the attack, he threw his staff in the air, his staff kept flying upwards till it reached a stage in the air, Sun Wukong jumped up towards it, butt shaking the staff, he did several dance moves around the staff.   Change'e felt astonished at what she saw but she was careful not to allow it to show on her face. Once Sun Wukong was done with his gimmick, he held his staff by it's rear end and launched it towards Change'e. "That sly bastard, though it's a common trick," Change'e thought to herself.  "He plans on me evading it and while I do, he'd appear before me and land the finishing blow, well, he doesn't know that I have anticipated his anticipation." The staff was about to hit Change'e but Change'e evaded to the right, almost immediately as she did, Sun Wukong began to make signs as fast as he could with his fingers. "Paramiadios : Godly seal," Sun Wukong screamed aloud after he had done the signs, almost immediately, the staff that he had thrown at Change'e suddenly transformed to a golden casket, before Change'e could react, her body began to vanish, she disappeared almost immediately she noticed. "That was a seal, it's one of Guanyin most secluded techniques, she's the only god capable of sealing other gods," Sun Wukong smiled to himself.  "I am glad I borrowed her technique, I knew it would come in handy on day." "So that explains how those riders of dark came after me, I knew it was strange as summoning that army was something only Xiwangmu could do, why she would want to destroy me was unfathomable as she and I don't have any issues, only you could have want to destroy me at that moment but yet I had no proof, now that you were able to do one of the secluded techniques of another god, I know there's something fundamentally wrong with you, I am not going to rely on the Jade Emperor, any of the other gods or even Zhangshun Shan to stop you, I will do so myself, now that I have discovered your secret, you are nothing in comparison to me." Sun Wukong looked around, he could hear Change'e voice but he couldn't pinpoint her location. "If you keep talking, I am sure I will eventually die of boredom," Sun Wukong smiled as he continued.  "But don't for once in your life think that I am stupid," Sun Wukong grinned as he squeezed his arm, once he did, Change'e reappeared from behind the casket, she seemed to be tied in a strange snake-like chain which curled around her body.  "I know you are one of the Jade rabbits, I sealed the real Change'e," as Sun Wukong said that, the Change'e which was levitating above the ground transformed to a six foot tall rabbit with pink spots around his chest, he wore golden adornments all over his body, a cruel smile creeped on the god of mischief's lips as he continued. "You must have transformed one of the Jade rabbits before I sealed you, you stupidly thought that once I heard you talk, I would be thrown into confusion that I had captured the wrong one and knowing that even Guanyin can't seal another God whilst one is sealed, you thought my ability would work similarly to that and then you'd use that chance to escape as I would unseal what I thought was fake in order to get a chance to seal the real one." "Amazing," the Jade rabbit said, it sounded exactly like Change'e.  "Everything you said in that sentence was according to my anticipation, I knew you'd figure out that this was a fake and concluded that that was my plan but you are wrong and incorrect, my plan was never for you to unseal the seal for me, a true woman always gets things done by herself, only bitches let others get things done for them," as the Jade rabbit spoke, it stabbed Sun Wukong with a black sword (it was the same Change'e was using earlier.) "Just before you sealed me, I had summoned this rabbit and tossed the sword to him, the sword negates every form of omnipotence and abilities, now that it's inside you, you are completely finished, also I intentionally let myself get sealed as the sealing is a form of ability, I delibrately kept one of the arrows from the warriors of dark with me, I was anticipating getting captured cause I knew I'd break out, after all..." The Jade rabbit stopped talking as the casket that Change'e was supposedly sealed in broke into a million uncountable pieces, from it came the goddess of the moon, she has a sly smile on her face, she clearly thought she was in the lead, in her right arm, she held an arrow. "...I am an independent woman, the Jade Emperor created women to be the weaker gender but I refuse to accept that fate, that's why right from when I was a woman till I became a patron, I was always on top, I never let anything hold me back and I made sure that everything I did, I was the best at it, I am a woman, I can survive with or without a man, I am not ultimately reliant on others as eventually even if there's no way, I will pave a way for myself, that's what it means to be a woman, to overcome hardships in the most tiring of times," Change'e said, confidence brimming in her eyes as she looked over at the monkey king who was bleeding from his sides but yet he still had a sly smile on his face.  "SUN WUKONG!!!! you are finished."
