Showdown : Zhangshun Shan's little chase

3447 Words
Sun Wukong stretched his back as he skillfully turned his body 180 degrees around his waist.  "To put the other gods out of suspicion," Sun Wukong grinned as he tore a hair from his scalp, it was golden and whitish in color. "Change'e must have informed Pangu about where she was and how she needed help, being the type of person that Pangu is, he would realise something went wrong, I don't mean to use this as a permanent measure but it will buy me some time for a while," Sun Wukong said as he threw the hair, it landed a few feet from him and transformed to a 6'3 tall, White-haired asian(Zhangshun Shan). "I planned to keep you for a while longer but after our encounter, I realized your abilities were no more than that of a mere 3D being, how you were able to subdue Xiwangmu and majority of the participants is a mystery I am shocked I didn't foresee, well, it's no matter, Pangu would be desperate to know why Change'e called him and didn't show up in the location she told him," Sun Wukong snapped his fingers, the Zhangshun Shan figure immediately transformed to Change'e.  "You would try and act the way Change'e did, Pangu would suspect something is amiss as she called him and there was no emergency whatsoever, he would make further investigations, then he'd find out you were a dud, I delibrately set you up with Zhangshun Shan's life force, he would make the conclusion that Zhangshun Shan was actually Renkui's murderer, once that's achieved, I will be killing two birds with one stone," Sun Wukong grinned as he turned away.  "But that Zhangshun Shan is a very unpredictable fellow, I don't know how he was able to defeat Xiwangmu and majority of the participants, in other for Pangu not to catch on, I'd start trying to get close to him, gain his trust and convince him to let me be the one to take down Zhangshun Shan, I need to do this in order to prevent any unexpected outcome, the fact that an action comes up with unexpected outcomes means that at the start-up of the action, the actor wasn't meticulous enough, once you properly access a situation, everything becomes expected and no such crap such as the unexpected shall surface, I never experience the unexpected because I have expected all possible outcomes," Sun Wukong smiled cheekily as he turned away from the Change'e double he created.  "You know what to do, I have given you your orders," he said without looking back, the Change'e double immediately disappeared from where she stood. "Kredek and Dishra, my oldest friends, it's time I pay them a visit," Sun Wukong smiled as he disappeared from where he stood. ************************************ Dishra and Kredek were sitting on a mat, directly in front of them was a long brown gourd, it was about 4 feet tall, the room wasn't so big as it measured a 9 feet by 6 feet in rectangular dimensions. Beside the gourd were two small cups, they were filled with a white substance, Dishra had red on his cheeks as he swayed his body playfully, it was obvious he was drunk. "The underworld is truly a wonder," Kredek began.  "Here, everyone is equal, there's no such thing as higher dimensional being, it's as the saying goes, every creature is equal at birth, differences only begin to surface as they live, it turns out the equality we share at birth resurfaces as we die." "Ughhhhh," Dishra said as he filled his cup with more contents from the gourd.  "Why do you always have to sound so philosophical about everything, you gotta enjoy yourself, the underworld isn't that bad, it has the best sake," Dishra gulped his cup greedily emptying the contents in his mouth, he drank it so carelessly that it escaped his lips as it spilled on the ground around him. "Your optimism is something I could never comprehend," Kredek smiled.  "No matter how bad the situation got, you were always smiling, it's really something I could never get my head under." "Life isn't something we can always control but if we could, we'd want it to be always good for us, the one thing we can control is the display on our face," Dishra began putting up a cheerful face.  "And what could be better than always looking your best facially, that's why I always have to smile, it's a way of me expressing that no matter what happens, I would never let anything steal my smile," Dishra grinned as he took the gourd and poured more contents in the other cup beside him, holding it up and extending it towards Kredek.  "We did all we could, comrade but what matters isn't if we could actualize our dreams or not, what matters is the actualization of the dream itself and I believe in your son, he shall bring it into fruition, therefore drink that we at least suceeded in that aspect and left a legacy, after all, we are just carriers of dreams and will, if a Carrier can't get his object to his destination and he faints without giving anyone to pass the object to, then he fails but if he manages to give it to another capable one, then he has succeeded as what matters isn't the carrier, it's the object he carries and your son now holds that object, the least we can do is hope in him," Dishra ended with his most cheerful smile, As Kredek heard that, he couldn't just help but feel like smiling as he took the sake from him. "I won our wager," Kredek grinned as he emptied the contents in his cup. "What wager?" "I always told you your optimism would be the reason for your end, you said I'd die before you and last I remembered, I am pretty sure you died after I did, I definitely won that bet..." "That's not how I remember how the wager went," came a deep cheeky voice, Kredek and Dishra even though drunk turned towards the direction of the voice, they couldn't hide the looks on their faces as they saw their oldest friend, standing right in the room with them was none other than the god of mischief, Sun Wukong. "The wager was that I'd be the first to die, y'all always said I was tight lipped and that would lead to my demise," Sun Wukong grinned.  "But look who died first," he ended with a demeaning grin.   Kredek and Dishra couldn't respond as they just stared at him, their mouths wide opened. ************************************ Zhangshun Shan rode his bike, he drove as fast as he could, Ashley sat behind him, she hugged him tightly, she was smiling happily, she could breathe in Zhangshun scent and he did really smell good. "It's so good to have a god boyfriend," she thought.  "Don't ever leave me, Zan, I'd die without you." "You guys sure you don't wanna come into my Lambo," Ken said from his Lamborghini, he was in the backseat, the vehicle seemed to be moving on it's own. "A god shall not sit in the vehicle of a mere commoner," Zhangshun Shan replied him sharply as he increased the speed in the vehicle he was riding.  "Besides, this is your fault, if you hadn't been stupid enough to try and attack me, we wouldn't be this far behind in the race." "Duhhhhh, it's a deathrace, causing a few deaths was allowed," Ken smiled.   "And a gentleman always ensures he fulfills the terms and conditions laid down." "Now fulfill the terms and conditions of shutting the f**k up," Zhangshun Shan growled in his direction. "I will now shut up," Ken smiled, as he did, Zhangshun Shan's face relaxed.  "Because it's a well known fact that silence is the best answer for a fool," he added. "You bastard!!!" Zhangshun Shan shouted as he turned his vehicle sharply towards him.  Almost immediately as he did, a fireball was launched towards his position, Zhangshun Shan sensing it turned his vehicle sharply away from the trajectory of the fireball, Ken also seeing it coming controlled his vehicle to move away, it was extremely close as the fireball landed very close to them. "What's happening?" Ashley blurted out, her cheerful expression was gone and she actually looked like she was scared. "Nothing serious, someone is exhibiting stupidity by actually trying to attack me," Zhangshun Shan began with his most wicked smile.  "It's high time I show the bastard the significance of the im in immortals and how it differentiates from mortals." As Zhangshun said that, he turned sharply with his vehicle towards the place the fireball was launched at him. "Martial arts style : great flames," he said aloud as he jumped off his bike, closing his mouth and shaking his cheeks, when he had attained a certain height in the air, he opened his mouth expelling fire towards the place where the fireball was launched at him, as he did that, several vehicles became visible each trying to escape the onslaught of the flames.  Zhangshun Shan grinned as he landed on one of the vehicles. Raising his arm, Zhangshun Shan hit the windshield of the vehicle ferociously, the glass broke into several pieces, before the rider in t vehicle could react, Zhangshun Shan grabbed him and threw him out of the vehicle. "Martial arts style : small leap," Zhangshun Shan said as he jumped above the vehicle, with his right arm, he held the driver, he was above 60 feet high in the air, the driver he held was visibly shaking as he peed his pants, he was horrified. "Ever played frisbee before," Zhangshun Shan asked evilly. "N....no....no," the driver stuttered. "Well, ain't it your lucky day, it's high time you learnt about a new sport," Zhangshun Shan smiled as he threw him towards one of the other vehicles, he landed on the vehicle at the wind shield. "Hey, get off!!!" The driver of the vehicle the launched driver landed upon shouted. "Martial arts style : fiery asteriods," Zhangshun Shan grinned as he pointed his arms down, as he did, an hail of asteriods appeared from the skies and vegan to fall towards the vehicle, it landed crashing it and destroying the two individuals. Zhangshun Shan smiled as he landed safely on the ground. "I am in an extremely good mood today," Zhangshun Shan had the most evil smile on his face.  "And to extend that goodwill to y'all, I shall end your miserable and pathetic lives so you wouldn't have to suffer no more," Zhangshun Shan ends as he blitzed through about seven vehicles which were approaching him, he halted behind them as he put on his most demeaning smile, shortly after he had put it on, all the vehicles began to explode in an orderly fashion, parts of it flying about. "There's a reason the immortals don't live amongst mortals, if they did, the word mortals wouldn't exist cause there would be no mortals alive to claim that name," Zhangshun Shan grinned to himself. "Are you done blabbing?" He heard a voice, he looked in the direction of the voice, he spotted a 6 feet tall Caucasian, he held Ashley but Ashley appeared unconscious, she wasn't moving, Zhangshun Shan looked over at Ken, he hadn't left his vehicle, his vehicle also appeared to be stuck where it was. "This is strange," Zhangshun Shan thought.  "Why is Ashley unconscious and Ken, he's a 16D being, the creatures I just encountered are but mere 3D beings, how come they were able to put Ken out of the game, there's someone who is manipulating them behind the scenes, possibly a high dimensional being, I will figure it out as I always do," Zhangshun Shan told himself as he put on his most demeaning smile, turning towards the one who held Ashley.  "Your face is the only thing more distasteful than the bitterleaf soup, it's so ugly if anything was made uglier, everything else would automatically be considered beautiful," Zhangshun Shan smirked as he began to walk forward.  "And personally, I hate ugliness cause it's a contradiction to who I am, just for how you look, I am going to kill you but now there are two types of death, we have the slow death and the fast one, the fast one is quick and painless, you wouldn't even know you were ever alive cause your body would be decomposing in no time and then we have the slow death, it's where you begin to wish for death and knowing myself, I wouldn't give it to you, if you desire the fast death, let Ashley go and if you want the slow one, you can keep holding her hostage but bear in mind, I never hold back and I always keep my word." "You cocky bastard," he shouted at Zhangshun Shan as he thought to himself.  "That man had suddenly appeared before us and given us those traps, he charged us with setting traps around, I was scared to go against the minky eyes seeing what he did at the beginning of the tournament but he had told us if we didn't do as he charged, he was going to kill us all, the traps worked successfully well making the one in the Lambo and this girl unconscious, I didn't expect the minky eyes to jump, I mean who the f**k thinks of that, now, I have to get out of here, else this minky eyes would kill me, I would use this bastard girl to make my escape, I want to live," he thought as he threw Ashley fiercely upon a green colored Kawasaki 400cc powerbike, he also jumped in after her, starting the vehicle, he drove off as speedily as he could. "When an antelope spots the cheetah chasing him," Zhangshun Shan smiled as he got upon it's bike.  "It runs but I wonder why, it's only delaying the inevitable, once a god decides he's going to kill you, there's no stopping him, you are already dead." As he said that, Zhangshun Shan started his bike following after him I hurt pursuit. The Caucasian looked behind himself, he saw Zhangshun Shan gaining on him behind. "The tyre of his bike is composed majorly of synthetic and natural rubber," he thought to himself.  "And last I remembered, rubber doesn't do well with ice." As he said that, he pointed towards he ground, ice and snow began to fill the ground starting from behind his bike and making it's way towards Zhangshun Shan. "Such a crude strategy, I have seen kindergartners come up with better ideas," Zhangshun Shan had a cruel look on his face as he muttered a few words, opening his mouth, he expelled fire burning the ice which was making his way towards him. "I saw you using that fire earlier on," the man said as he kept driving.  "I expected you to use that, it looks like you are incapable of making another move while you are expelling fire to defrost my ice," as he said what he did, large chumps of solidified snow began to fall from the sky towards Zhangshun Shan, the chumps of snow were extremely big, one of them was about 10km long and was easily as tall as a building, Zhangshun Shan saw one coming towards him, he puts on an even crueler smile as he did a backflip over his bike, he landed on the snow which was coming towards him, running as fast as he could on the ice, he made his way towards the end, his bike had lost it's grip being that it was now on ice and didn't have anyone driving it, Zhangshun Shan didn't think of that as he stretched his other arm.  "Martial arts style : Katana creation," he said and as he did, a Katana appeared in his outstretched arm, another chump of ice materialized in front of him, Zhangshun Shan readying his sword cut the approaching chump of ice into several clean slices causing a rain of snow and ice cubes to fall.  "What a waste of ice, I would have loved some in my drink," Zhangshun Shan grinned as he got to the end of the chump of snow he was running upon, skillfully getting under it, his bike too had resurfaced under though it had lost momentum, Zhangshun Shan skillfully picked up the handles of his bike, moving his body in a professional fashion, as he did, the chump of snow he was running upon exploded covering everywhere with snow.  He hit the pedals of his bike causing his bike to regain speed, pressing a few buttons on his bike, the bike he was riding on suddenly transformed to a snowboard. "Thanks again for the snow and ice, really turned up the mood, eh" Zhangshun Shan smiled as he began to surf towards the man, the man gritted his teeth in annoyance, now Zhangshun Shan was moving faster than he on his bike. "Glaciers of ice," he screamed aloud and as he did, ice began to materialize out of the air and shoot towards Zhangshun Shan, Zhangshun Shan's smile for once didn't leave his face, his sword appeared in his right arm, as fast as he could, he began to carve all the ice blocks that were approaching him, he made several statues of himself with different poses as he cut the ice with such speed and professionalism that it looked like a work of Micheal Angelo.  The Caucasian was getting more pissed as he saw what Zhangshun Shan was doing. "You think this is a game, you think this is supposed to be funny, uhh" he muttered to himself as almost immediately, a big slab of ice above fifty feet long dashed towards Zhangshun Shan, Zhangshun Shan smiled as he drove towards the ice. "The ice has built up quite the momentum," Zhangshun Shan grinned.  "It's perfect," as he said that, the snowboard he was holding suddenly transformed back to his bike, holding the handles carefully, Zhangshun Shan drove speedily towards the incoming ice. "He's definitely dead, there's no way he can cut that ice in time," the man thought to himself but to his surprise, he saw Zhangshun Shan right above him in the air.  "H...ho..how i...is th...that po.... possible," he stammered. (Explaining what Zhangshun Shan did) Zhangshun Shan while riding towards the ice had began to blow flames from his breath, he burnt the side he was supposedly going to collide with in such a skillful manner that it looked like he created an highway, holding the handles well, he braced himself as he knew he would lose control thanks to the tyres being rubber and he was riding on ice, the momentum he gained on the ice was enough as it launched him high into the air and past even where the Caucasian was. Zhangshun Shan grinned evilly at the Caucasian who was down, Zhangshun Shan smiled as he said.  "You have been launching attacks for a while and there's a saying, if you walk into a place shooting, expect to be shot back at, with that said, how about I launch some attacks of my own," Zhangshun Shan grinned.  "Martial arts style : volley of arrows," as he said that, a volley of arrows materialized out of the air, it rained down on him hitting his face and several other parts of his body. "AHHHRGGHHH!!!!!" He screamed aloud as the arrows pierced his body at an alarming speed, the arrows fell in such a way that not a single one of them made contact with Ashley. Zhangshun Shan landed on the ground with his bike, sharply handling the handles, he made a U-turn as he brought his bike to a halt, getting down, he moved over to Ashley and carried her in his arms. "I am Zhangshun Shan, I always win." A man was about seventy feet from Zhangshun Shan's position, he has watched all the events unfold, he was dressed in all black and his face seemed to be hidden behind a veil of darkness, he held a dagger in his right arm(he was the only Infinite dimensional being who was still alive in the tournament). "The mortal is pathetic," He said.  "But I still can't neglect what he did in the beginning of the tournament, I will observe him a bit more, it's a good thing I threatened those third rates to go after him, I have a bit of information," he said to himself as he vanished from where he stood.
