As she drifted off to sleep, it was dark midnight blue eyes she dreamed of staring into and reciting her wedding vows and not pale blue ones. Her dreams grew dark. Drake was in danger. The Guild would cause him harm because she was with him. “He is not that Delaney!” She cried to the soldiers attacking him as several of them held her back. “He is only human. You’re hurting him!” She fought valiantly against the hoards of soldiers separating her and Drake, pulling her further away from him.
