THE DEMONS EQUAL

CHAPTER SIX

It was noon by the time they arrived. The village was almost empty due to the deaths and frequent disappearance of humans. Humans were now rare in the realm and the remaining lived in the village.

Venom rode into the village first and noticed the empty houses and vacant streets. "Your highness, are you sure our queen lives here?"he asked unsure as he looked around. Damon looked around but no human were in sight. They got down from their horses and searched for any signs of life. The walked until they caught sight of a small hut with smoke coming out from the chimney.

They reached the house and knocked on the door. An old man opened the door. He had white hair and mustache with wrinkles all over his face. He looked confused at first but saw Karl's big horns and immediately turned scared.

"D..D....Demons"he stuttered as he fell down in fear.

Damon raised a brow at him before squatting down and asked him

"What's your name? Is there a woman named Diana living here?". The old man stuttered as he replied "M....my name....umm... Gray..hoot. I'm..th...the last..human here... Please.... Don't take me". The demons just stared at him. Damon's eyes widened at his words.

"Last human? That's impossible"Kael spoke.

"They're are supposed to be at least 100 humans living here. What happened to the rest of your kind?"

"A year ago, they were taken by the werewolf lord to become slaves and haven't returned since" Gray replied.

"How about Diana? You have seen her right? She came here a year ago. She looks like this."Damon spoke immediately as he showed a photo of the woman. He struggled to contain his rage.

"Yes... I know her. She tried to protect the humans but was sent to Dragon realm as a slave for punishment of disobeying the werewolf Lord"Grey replied and Damon eyes turned blazing red. He was furious.

"The dragons dare hold my mate."he said cold and icy, that even scared Micheal.

"I'll kill them all"he spoke, ready to destroy everything.

"The other supernaturals has been exploiting humans and taking them as slaves. This is serious "Michael spoke.

But Damon wasn't even listening. The dragon king dare take him mate. He wanted to hunt down every dragon and burn their kingdom.

"Let's head to the Dragon kingdom first and save our queen then we look into the issue of human slavery."Karl spoke and the others agreed, waiting for Damon's orders.

Damon looked at them and decided to go ahead.

"Fine,I'll follow but if they dare hurt my mate. I'll burn their kingdom to ashes"

They rode out of the village and headed to the dragon kingdom but was met with another disturbance.

"Halt. No demons are allowed in the palace. It's an order from the king."a guard spoke as he blocked Michael's path.

They arrived at the dragon's kingdom at dusk but was blocked by the two guards who were extremely stubborn to allow them inside.

Damon was furious and couldn't hold back anymore. He grabbed one of the guards by the throat and threw him away like a piece of paper. The other one immediately launched an attack but was met by Venom's destructive punch,that sent him crashing through the wall of the gates.

The demons walked through and headed to the castle, ignoring the gazed staring at them. They barged into the palace hall only to be met by a sight that set Damon's blood boiling.
