Dylan had his back to me when I entered the kitchen, but he must have heard me because he immediately turned from the stove and walked over while wiping his hands on a dishtowel. He tossed it over his shoulder and stopped in front of me. I wanted to reach out and touch, but I wasn’t sure I should. Thankfully, Dylan took the choice out of my hands. “Mmm,” he murmured as he buried his face against my neck. “You smell good.” I laughed because his breath tickled and Dylan took the opportunity to blow a raspberry against my skin.
