Chapter 24
Syd
The wedding was beautiful. When I saw Wyatt break down as he watched Steph walk down the aisle, I almost lost it myself.
Steph and Wyatt wrote their own vows, and in typical Wyatt fashion he managed to get a few laughs when he promised to not only love and honor Steph, but to not get so drunk that he forgets who she is and to finally remember which Doctor was which and what in the world a TARDIS was.
Once the ceremony was over, we all left the lobby area to take pictures. Fortunately, the photographer, who had been capturing pictures since around 11:30 this morning, positioned Marisol and I on opposite sides. Phil and I were another issue altogether.
“Can I talk to you later?” He whispered to me while we were taking a group shot.
“No.”
“Come on Syd, please?”
“No.”
