The past few weeks were torture. I couldn’t wait to get to Atlanta to see Colton. I wanted to see if we would still have the same connection that we did that weekend together and that we’d had over the phone and through text messages.
I hadn’t heard from Phil since he stormed out of my apartment, which was a good thing because even though I stood up for myself that night, I never knew how I would react if he was around again.
My plan was to leave early Friday afternoon, I wanted to beat rush hour traffic. Colton told me that he would leave a key for the room at the front desk for me.
