After our weekend in Atlanta it was killing me not being around Syd. I missed her, craved her. Her creamy pink skin, her red hair, her scent, the feel of her body wrapped in mine, the taste of her on my lips.
We talked and messaged every day and Skyped, usually late at night after I helped put the kids to bed. Nothing got in the way of my nightly routine with the kids unless I was out of town.
After about a month, the need to see her drove me crazy, and I decided to surprise her. I called Wyatt and asked him to see if he could help me out.
“Maybe you can have Steph invite Syd over for dinner.”
