Chapter 4

Chapter 4 Syd I hate myself. I always say I won’t allow him to come around anymore and then I always let him come back. I just keep hoping that this time will be the time he realizes he wants me, that he loves me. Each time, it's not. After Phil left, I collected myself, jumped in the shower and went to pick Steph up at her and Wyatt’s place. After they got re-engaged, Wyatt insisted that she move into his house. She put up a fight for a few months, but he finally wore her down. He told her that he was not letting her get away from him again. They really were cute, sickeningly so, sometimes. Maybe that’s my jealousy talking. “How was your morning, Mrs. Greenlaw?” I teased. “Wonderful,” she beamed. “What about you Syd?” “What are you talking about?” “Girl please. I know you, like I know myself. You have that ‘look’ about you.” “Shut up Steph, you don’t know everything.” “Mm hm. You let Phil come over didn’t you?” “I hate you!” Steph cracked up. “I knew it! Is his d**k gold plated Syd? You can’t seem to let it go.” “Just so you know, I didn’t let him come over. He just showed up. Anyway…can we drop it? This day is not about me, it's about you, ok?” “Whatever hussy! Where are we going?” “If you don’t shut up, I’m dropping your ass off on the curb,” I chuckled. “We have an appointment at the spa so just sit back and chill out.”
