The girls woke up at the jingle of the bell. The atmosphere was tensed and the usual morning chatter was gone. Lucia tapped Audrey without saying a word to her. Audrey got up from her bunk immediately, she wasn't able to sleep causing her to have dark and swollen skin under her eyes. None of them said anything to each other.
Though she tried to appear brave, Lucia was drowning in fear on how to tell Azrail about her carelessness. She continued to contemplate if telling him was a good idea or not.
The girls gathered at the main hall as usual.
"Everyone is here, you can go to your various allocated quarters and start your chores. Good luck and remember to be safe" Lucia said quickly dismissing the girls.
