Grams opened her arms the second I opened the front door. “Welcome home!" I laughed. “Hi, Grams." I had to admit, I missed her so incredibly much. We didn't spend a lot of time away from each other. Grams was the only person I had. “It's so good to finally be home. I don't suppose there is breakfast?" My stomach growled as soon as the words left my mouth. Grams chuckled and squeezed my arm. “Now, what kind of grandma would I be if I didn't have breakfast ready?" “You're amazing," I said.
