A couple of weeks passed without incident. Tanner and Melissa kept their distance which made me suspicious that they were keeping something from me. One day they walked into the coffee shop while I had my hands full. The run-in was a little odd at first. I was worried that maybe they noticed something they could use against me, but they didn't seem to care about what I was doing once I gave them their coffee. Liz and I grew closer.
