Chapter 6 Following

CHADS POV

I watched as the chevy camaro pulled up into the parking lot. I could make out her gorgeous black hair and flawless skin.

Then I saw Killiam lean in for a kiss and I felt like shifting and ripping him apart right there and then but I saw Alina give him a quick hug and climb out. I was glad my mate didn't kiss him and dodged his attempt. But as Killian drove away Alina had a smile on her like most girls had after talking to me!! I growled and something next to me squeaked.

"Babe? Babe!?" Kiara shouted. I remembered I was holding my girlfriend, Kiara Kale ,a member of my pack but not my mate, we've been dating for a year now and well I never liked her more than a play thing, she was just a kinky wolf and satisfied my manly needs.

I watched as Alina's hairwaved in the wind, the black so shiny and gorgeous ,she lifted her eyes and they found me and my inner wolf howled in excitement and lust. He told me to shake off the dead weight I called a girlfriend and I agreed.bLooking into Alinas eyes I let go of Kiara and walked up to Alina.

My entire being and wolf was so focused on her it felt like we were the only two people in this place

ALINA'S POV

I looked back up to see Chad letting go of a small blonde with a ratlike face. She protested but he just ignored her and he looked to be walking straight up to-

CHADS POV

I Straight up to her.

"Good morning newbie thought I would be your guide for today since I should be making up for yesterday." I winked.

ALINA'S POV

Omg! he winked at me and my knees went numb and my mouth started watering, I tried to shake the feeling, what had come over me, I thought. Maybe my period was really screwing up my hormones mixed with a little pain meds.

"Uhm yeah you were an ass yesterday but I'm not one to hold grudges. So it's fine don't burden yourself. Looks like your girlfriends about to have an aneurysm." I tried to act nonchalant and walked past him. He let me go and I was a little disappointed.

CHADS POV

My wolf was going insane and I told him to shut it. I felt bad for hurting her but it would seem her wounds healed faster than what doc thought. I let her go knowing I had to get rid of Kiara and fast, since Alina didn't know about wolves yet I would have to act smooth. Her grandfather had asked doctor Lock to ask me not to tell her the truth yet, but my wolf was aching to claim his mate, instinct was driving me mad, but soon my alpha soon you will claim her. ALINA'S POV

The classes went by in a blur and I was catching on well to how the teacher's were teaching. But the whole day the uncomfortable feelings felt like my bones were stiff and no matter what I did, even P.T. didn't help. My period was really screwing me up.

Finally recess came and I went to grab a grilled chicken burger with fries and a soda. I felt like greasy food today. Honestly any girl would understand comfort food in these dire times.

I looked for a place to sit and saw an arm wave but I tried to ignore it until he called my name.

"ALINA! Over here!" Chad kept waving. I saw people stop and stare at me, as if Chad was crazy for calling me to sit there.

I walked over and stood seeing the over full table with eyes burning holes into my forehead. I heard some whisper; 'why did he call her', and, 'what on earth is she wearing.'

I felt my hands go warm and I felt like biting that girl sitting next to one of Chads girl friends head off. I growled and saw the whole tables eyes widen. Chad jumped up and his face full of concern.

"You don't have to sit here let's go outside like yesterday." He took my tray for me and I let him so I could calm down.

"Babe where are you going?"I turned to see Chads girlfriend death staring me. Stank eye, Damn! Wow she had an irritating voice.

"Kiara I feel like some fresh air and Alina here is new." It looked like she had shrunk even more when he spoke to her and she just looked down and went to sit in his previous spot. It left we wondering if she would've sat on his lap. That pissed me off for some reason.

We sat at the same spot on the far side under the tree. I could feel Chad staring at me.

"What? do I have a zit on my forehead that everyone has to look at me like you are right now?" I said with out looking up from my fries I was playing with.

"No not at all sorry I didn't mean....Sorry I'm just fascinated by you." His voice dropped low and I felt my body react. I shuffled my butt a bit and shoved a fry into my mouth.

"So your trying to prove some stupid bet with your friends? I know guys like you, Mr popularity. Chad Theseus , the perfect golden boy but behind adults your a bad ass brat with as much a bratty girlfriend, god she can whine." I seethed. Why was I so angry!?

"What the hell? I'm trying to be nice here. I don't see you making friends? Your the one making your self look weird!" He obviously sustained some blows to his ego.

"Excuse me, you know what all guys are the same, no, this place's people thinking they know me!! I'm tired of making friends only to move and have them forget me. So shove your assumptions jackass go entertain some retarded blonde with your charm." I shoved my tray onto the ground letting the food go to waste. I was so upset I felt like crying but something told me that would make me look weak so I swallowed them back, I walked away from him sitting there speechless.

I ran into the under brush students probably went to bunk school in. I felt so alone, not literally but figuratively I felt like crying a piece was missing, I felt like I needed something inside myself to find the bridge to wholeness, as soon as that thought left my mind my bodies buzzing became a full blown wave of pain.

My knees buckled and I screamed out in pain as my back arched. I heard something crack and then felt it, my fingers were elongated. I tried to grab onto a tree to try and use as a anchor for my pain but it didn't help I was on the ground trying to tear my skin off it was boiling..."AAAAAAAH !!"

CHADS POV

I heard yelling from the small bundle of trees at the end of school boundary. It's where Alina was. I called Hunter and my Beta was with me in seconds.

"What's wrong?" He knew not to use alpha when so many humans were near. The humans wouldn't have heard such a high frequency sound.

"Alina." Hunter understood.

We ran in after her and I ran ahead. We stopped to find Alina awake and panting. I came near and she heard me walk over the dead leaves.She turned her head.

"Don't you dare come near me....please....I dont want to hurt you!" She cried.

"It's okay Alina I understand what's happening. Let me help you."I put a hand on her shoulder and could see some of the tension leave her body.

"Hunter you can go, tell the pack teachers I'll be at the house." I ordered. He nodded looked at Alina and left. I wasn't jealous of him looking at her because he was my loyal Beta and well mostly because he was mateless due to the fact that she died.

"Alina you need to come with me."I tried to pick her up but she collapsed. She turned her head and I expected her piercing green eyes but it wasn't what I expected. Her eyes were a milky blue , her tips of her hair turning white. I was worried some strange illness was taking over, wolves of our genome tended to have strange unexplained illnesses.

She passed out and I lifted her and ran to my jeep and rode to the pack house.

We got to the house and the nurses helped me carry Alina into one of the hospital rooms. They checked her and told me she was fine, she was in heat and as for the white blue eyes and white hair turning they had no clue. I took her upstairs onto the third floor which was my entire wing, the alphas entire wing.

I laid her on my bed, soon to be ours, and it looked like the bed had been made to hold her soft body. My wolf was thinking southern things as usual and I understood why. Although it was strange for her to be in heat, I should have noticed it, but what was stranger yet was she only turned once and she was unmarked how on earth could she be on heat, female wolves only get their heat after they've turned more than 5 times and usually near the full moon Alina had only turned once and the full moon was last night.

I walked up and down running through the questions, maybe she was marked already even though she didn't smell like another, I would kill who ever had tried to get with her.

She stirred and I rushed over, her eyes fluttered open and they were green, her black hair grew over the white which was a weird sight.

"Chad?"
