I woke up panting. I looked around to see that I was in my room. I look at my outfit to see that I'm still wearing the same outfit. I got out of bed and looked in the mirror. My hair is still tied up, but I haven't done my make-up yet. I sit at my desk and rest against the back of the chair. What the hell was that dream? Do I like that guy? Why? I sigh and start doing my make-up. After I was done, I looked at my phone to see the time. 3 Pm. How the hell did I fall asleep? I look at the calendar and see that it's still Saturday. I sigh. It was definitely a dream, but why? I stood up and changed into a white skirt and sat down on the bed. I need to train harder. That dream made me realize one thing: I'm still too weak. I checked my bank account to see that I had over 5000£. How... Never mind, I looked at who had been sending money to see that it was both the mother and the father who had been sending her money every month. This girl hates her father, but her father sends her money and calls her once a month.
Allow me to explain a bit about her situation. Her mother is a real estate agent, while her father owns a business. She hasn't seen her father in person for over eight years. Her mother is trying to be a mother and a father figure for her. There was a time that her father would have come, but the flight was canceled and he couldn't come. This girl is both happy and sad. Happy because she is free as a bird and can do whatever she wants, but sad since she hasn't seen her father and always wants to spend time with him. It's quite sad, but her father always tries to make her happy through video calls. In a sense, I can understand her, but I don't understand her at the same time. I guess I'm just not affected by family things. Since I lost my family at a young age, let's not think about stuff like that, let's focus forward. That was my old life. This is my second chance. I should use my knowledge from my previous life in this life to survive and live a good or normal life. Back to topic. This girl had more friends than Daniel, but since she started dating that guy, a lot of her friends left her because they said that she had changed. I can understand them, but they could have talked to her instead of leaving her.
The other situation is that her brother is as cold as ice, he just doesn't care about her. Whenever she tried to talk to him, he would just ignore her or yell at her for being annoying or troublesome. But the brother never shows any signs that he misses his father. He just doesn't care.
I guess at home it's a gamble for me, but outside of the house or family stuff is clear. I know who are old friends, childhood friends, best friends, exes, and enemies. It might be easy, but to act like you have known them for a while is hard, at least for me. I was never a person who could show many emotions after my parents died. Now that I think about it, I wonder who were the people who did this to her. Fixing the vocal cords won't be a problem for me since I know a friend of mine from my previous life that can help me with this problem. I know a lot about her and she would do anything for me. Since I saved her life. But I need to go there during summer vacation, which is good. The only problem is that I will need to fly to another country. Looks like more thinking ahead. Oh and I probably haven't mentioned that the country that I'm living in right now is London. But I need to fly to Italy, then to France. After those countries will be whatever destiny awaits me.
I got off my bed and went downstairs. I need something normal to eat, not just a snack. I opened the fridge hoping to see something inside, but there was nothing, not even an egg! I opened the cupboards and cabinets, but there was absolutely no food! I walked to the living room to see a bunch of guys and my brother talking, laughing, eating all the food, and drinking. What the actual hell? I sighed, went upstairs, grabbed my wallet, and went back down, then I put on my sneakers, took my brother's car keys, and left the house. I closed the door behind me and faced a bunch of cars in front of the house and in the driveway. But there was one car that stood out. Without thinking much about it, I got into my brother's car. I pulled the seat closer to the wheel, then fixed the side mirror and then the view mirror. When I was done, I sped off.
I don't have a driver's license now, but in my previous life, I did. Nothing much is different, since I used to live in London too and everything should be fine as long as I don't get pulled over. I drove to the closest supermarket. When I got there, I got myself a cart and went inside. After I finished, I put the stuff in the car and realized that I might have bought too much stuff. But can you blame me? Those idiots ate everything and drank everything. As I was about to get into the car, a few cars stopped with a screech. I looked up and saw my brother getting out of one of the cars and looking at me. I could see the anger on his face.
"Shadow! What the hell are you doing here with my f*****g car? You don't even have a driver's license! What if you get stopped by the police? What if you damaged the car? What if you scratched it? What if you get into an accident? Or I get a call from the hospital and get informed that you lost a f*****g limb? What then, huh? What then?" He said as he walked toward me. I could see that he was pissed. He stood in front of me and I could see the anger even in his eyes. "Get in the f*****g car." He spat out. I shook my head and pointed inside the car. He looked at what I was pointing at and he sighed. He turned around towards his buddies, who had already left the car. "Yo! Aldea!" After that, I saw him, the jet-black man with a few strands of silver hair walking toward us. When he got to us, my brother started talking. "Can you drive my sister back home? I would do it, but she filled the entire car with her stuff." He said, sending daggers at me. I put up the good girl smile. After he turned toward the guy, I dropped my smile and rolled my eyes.
"Alright" The guy, Aldea, said. I hate to admit it, but his voice is so f*****g deep. And I mean that in a sexy way. I gave the keys to my brother and followed Greyson to his car. He opened the car door and held it for me. I rolled my eyes and got in and put on my seatbelt. He got in, put on his seat belt, and started driving. I turned on the music and started lip-sinking to the songs. I pulled out my phone and started texting with Daniel. Nothing important, just asking about school.
We finally got to the house. I got out of the car, slammed the door, and waited for my brother's car to drive in. Once it did, I walked up to the car and started gathering my stuff. I brought the stuff to my room, little by little. When I got everything to my room, I closed the door and started pulling stuff out of my bags. First, I unpacked a shelf and started constructing it. After I was done, I placed it on the desk against the wall and started putting my snacks there. I then picked up the pink carpet and threw it in the trash bin outside. Replacing it with a brand new fluffy indigo-colored carpet. I continued filling the drawers and reorganizing them. After I finished everything up, I sat down at my desk and opened my laptop. I need to start working quickly.
