"There's no such thing as a coincidence, there is no such thing as fate. You choose what you want to be. You choose what you do, how you behave, and how you react to different situations. The only difference between you and other people is the choices you make and the genes you inherit. You choose your path, but the path never ends, even if you die. If you want to survive in this world, if you want to travel the world as you claim you do, you should pick the correct person to travel with. But make no mistake, the person you choose will be the reason for your situation. That's called destiny." The woman said as she walked away. A woman with a black robe on and a hood that cast a shadow on her face. I couldn't recognize her. She just randomly sat down next to me and started talking. But something about her was familiar. Like I know her. Whatever the reason was, I wanted to know who she was.
I woke up with sweat covering me. I got up from my bed and went to the bathroom and turned on the shower. I undressed and made sure the door was locked. I got into the shower and I started thinking about the dream. That wasn't any random dream, it was a week before I died. My path is the choices I make. I didn't take her words seriously and I died. I cannot make the same mistake again. That guy is handsome, but I cannot fall for him. Or I might meet the same fate. I cannot let the same mistake happen. I can't and I won't.
I finished with my shower and noticed I didn't bring any clothes with me to the bathroom. I wrapped a towel around my body. I walked out of the bathroom and walked towards my room, but bumped into someone. I looked up and met the midnight blue eyes. I noticed his eyes were looking lower than they were supposed to. I looked down and realized that my towel lowered itself and I could see a bit of my breast. Without thinking, I slapped his face and ran to my room.
Slamming the door behind me and locked it. I went to my closet and took out a white crop top, white shorts, a black bra, and panties and took out some thigh-high black socks with two white lines on the top. I brushed my hair and styled it into a half-up, half-down ponytail. I did my usual make-up and added bright red matt lipstick. I grabbed my Bluetooth headphones and phone and left my room. As I descended the stairs, I saw my brother and that guy again and I noticed that there was a red hand print on his cheek. Oh god. I'm so f*****g dead. I continued to descend the stairs and saw my brother looking at me. I got to the bottom of the stairs and walked towards the basement door. As I was about to open it, my brother stopped me.
"Don't you think you should apologize?" he said.
"She doesn't need to-"
"Dude, last night she threw a plate at me and today she slapped you for no reason." He then looked at me. "Apologize."
I took out my phone from my pocket and was about to start writing but I was stopped by the guy.
"There's no need. It was my fault for staring." He said with a serious expression.
"So what happened?"
"She was wrapped in a towel when she bumped into me, her towel loosened and I caught a glimpse, then she slapped me for staring. As I said, it's my fault." He said it again with a serious expression.
"Alright. Oh, and this is my sister, Shadow. Shadow, this is my friend. He's my classmate in college, Aldea. Last week he went to your school to see his old teacher for something. You have probably seen him" he said. I shook my head and opened the door to the basement. Before I could close it, "He'll be staying with us for a couple of weeks", I slammed the door as he said that.
Great. Just f*****g GREAT! Looks like there are going to be more guys around me than I thought. And college? Sigh. Looks like I could take their books to study. It's good but bad at the same time. I turned on the music on my headphones and started exercising.
A week went by and I studied my high school books and college books. I studied like crazy, but it will all be worth it. I also made sure I didn't forget to exercise.
Today is different though, even though it's Saturday, I went to the basement later than normal. I started with the treadmill, wanting to increase my stamina. In the end, I started doing squats. I was focused on my music and exercises until I felt a pair of hands on my hips. The hands were guiding me. I continued doing the squats. After every squat, the hand would go lower and lower. By this point, there was a hand on my ass. I kept doing them until I felt the squeeze. I dropped the weights and turned around. Dropping my headphones to the ground at that moment. I met those beautiful midnight blue eyes and a half-naked guy.
This guy is half-naked. I looked lower at his black sweatpants, lower than they are supposed to be. I backed away while he walked toward me until my back hit the wall. f**k, I'm still too weak to fight against a guy like him. By this time, he was hovering over me. He put his hand on both sides of my hips and held me in place. He got even closer, closing the space between us, and then it hit me. He's drunk.
