The way HE saw it

1060 Words
3 days ago…   He turned onto the parking spot he saw but as he does so, he didn't realize that he backed up on another car. "s**t!" he muttered to himself. He got out of the car, thinking that the man can be compensated but as he looked up, he noticed what he assumed to be a man, turned out to be a woman. And not just any woman. The driver of the car was a stunning, sophisticatedly sexy woman who clearly exudes a fierce, independent aura just by looking at her stance. Killian couldn't help checking her out. The woman is beautiful. She was dressed simply in a blazer, some skinny jeans, and heels yet, it still made her look so elegant. Her long, wavy, brown locks framed her face just right. He kept observing her when he was snapped back into reality by her voice.   "Are you done checking me out?" the woman asked annoyingly.   Killian was slightly surprised by her question seeing as he was wearing sunglasses. He could tell she was smart, too. Claiming he was checking her out as he wore sunglasses was ridiculous. Killian only responded back with a chuckle.   "Simmer down, little girl. I wasn't checking you out." he denied plainly. "I'm 24 years old. I'm not a little girl." she countered, crossing her arms. Killian lazily shrugged off her comment and put up his hands in mock surrender.  "Are you going to do anything about this?" she asked as she pointed at the damaged part of her car.  Killian put his hands down and turned to look at where the woman was pointing at. He can imagine that if it were his car, he'd have the same reaction as the woman because the damage was almost huge. The car had a medium to large dent and the paint is scratched from the collision. Killian had no choice but to apologize. Apologize in his way, at least. He took off his sunglasses and turned to her.   "Alright, I realize that this is a big deal to you but, I'm hungry and I have to be somewhere after that so, why don't I just give you some money to pay for the damages and we can both be on our way." he simply said as he reached into his back pocket to get his wallet. "Are you seriously trying to pay me off? That's not the point. I can pay for the damages with my own money just fine." she reiterated. "Oh. Then I guess we have no problem, right?" Killian shrugged, put his wallet back into his pocket and moved to walk away but, the woman stopped him. "Where do you think you're going?!" she exclaimed. Killian stopped, took a deep breath and turned to her. "What?! You said you can fix it. So what's the problem?" he asked annoyingly. The woman widened her eyes in frustration "The problem is that you weren't looking where you're supposed to be driving. What if that was more serious than that? What if I got hurt? You're seriously just gonna give me some money and be on your way?" she asked, trying to reason with him as calmly as possible. Killian just rolled his eyes at her and reminded her, "Look, lady, none of what you're saying happened. Alright? Now, thanks to you, I won't get to eat lunch. I'm already late!" "I don't care! The point is you don't understand that you have to be careful! Or maybe… at least show some compassion. You can't just give money to someone and think that that's going to fix all your problems. You didn't even apologize! Or ask me if I was okay!" she frustratingly reasoned. Killian ran his hand over his face and looked at her annoyingly "Alright, you know what? This," he gestured to the two of them "is over. I have to go so, if you could please move your car, you'll never have to see me again." he stated and walked back to his car and waited for her.   The woman smirked at his back as an idea came up.   "I'm not gonna move my car until you say sorry." she declared confidently, knowing she's got him right where she wanted. "I don't need to say sorry. Do you actually see that my car is not without damage? Do you see that?" he asked, pointing at the few minor scratches on the rear left end of his car at the top of the lights. "Yeah. Only because you're the one who bumped my car! and that "damage" could not even compare to the damages that are on my car! So, technically, it's all your fault and I think I deserve an apology, at least." she almost hysterically pointed out, waving her hand to his car to pointing her finger at him directly.    "Lady, I'm not playing around. Move your car or else I'm going to do more damage than what I've already done to your precious car." he threatened.  She narrowed her eyes at him "Oh is that so? Then you wouldn't mind if I go to that guard over there and tell him what happened?" she challenged as she gestured to the guard walking nearby. "And say what? "oh please officer save me from the man who tried giving me some money because I'm such a little girl"" he replied, mocking and imitating a woman's voice. The woman's jaw clenched slightly but, kept her cool and just shrugged. "It's your word against mine." she shrugged, leaning against her car leisurely.   This time, it was Killian who had his jaw clenched. He even started tapping his foot impatiently without realizing. Involving a guard would waste more time and not saying sorry would waste a lot more. Also, seeing how the irritating woman wouldn't seem to budge until she gets her apology, looks like he's gonna have to do it. After letting out an exhausted sigh, he looked at her square in the face.   "Fine. I'm sorry… happy?" he said firmly, seething with annoyance.   The woman showed off a victory smirk stood up and walked to the driver's side. "That's better." she commented before sliding into her car and driving off. "You didn't even say 'thank you'!" he shouted after her, knowing perfectly well that she heard him when she slid out her hand through the window and just waved at him.   He was left seething. Taking a deep breath, Killian shook his head, slid into his car, and drove his way to his father's office building. God, does he hate that woman.
