Rebecca steadied herself and shouted angrily, "What on earth are you trying to do?" Her voice must have been a bit loud because a baby's wail came from inside the house.
Soon, an angry roar came from inside, "What are you trying to do? Can't you just let me have a moment of peace?" Then, Aidan appeared in the frame. I sneered; I knew he was here.
The moment Aidan walked out, Jillian flew into a rage and, without warning, slapped Rebecca hard across the face. "You b***h! Didn't you say he wasn't here? How dare you play these tricks on me? You're going too far!"
