War did not arrive with warning. It arrived with engines. The first sound was distant — a low mechanical rumble carried across the forest like thunder that refused to fade. Arianna woke instantly, her wolf reacting before her mind could fully process what was happening. Danger. Her heart began to pound. Beside her, Alexander was already moving.
