Ch 6: You are coming with me

At the front door of GEC-2, When Yajna said "Poonam is coming with me". Nikhil felt disappointed. He told her "I want to drag you away from the study. You can't get find the chance later" Nikhil disconnected the call
Nikhil said "Let's go Ankur"
Ankur asked "What about Yajna?"
Nikhil said in disappointment "She is going with Poonam."
Ankur said "Are you alright? You were excited second before"
Nikhil changed his mood within a second and said like nothing happened "What are you talking about? I am totally fine. I still have you. "
Sravanthi came from behind "Are you guys waiting for me?"
Ankur said "Yes Yes"
When Sravanthi holds Nikhil's arm. Nikhil removed her hands from his arm and draped his arm around Ankur's shoulder and walked to the amphitheatre Where DJ Night took place.
The sound was too loud. Lots and lots of employees and trainees were forming the group and dancing to the DJ songs. Ankur and Nikhil met a few more friends from their hometown in DJ Night.
Ankur said "Let's go inside the crowd"
Nikhil, Ankur and his friends went inside the crowd. Nikhil doesn't feel like dancing or enjoying himself. Nikhil saw Ankur and Sravanthi and his other friends dancing. He came out of the crowd to find Yajna talking to herself. He smiled and went to her "What are you muttering to yourself? Where is Poonam?"
Yajna replied "She left"
Nikhil asked "Are you looking for me?"
"No, I am not. I am about to leave to have dinner" Yajna replied and turned to walk away. Nikhil holds her hand "Are you hungry?"
Yajna shakes her head. Nikhil said "Then, you are coming with me" Yajna doesn't even understand why she is listening to him every time for everything. Nikhil takes her inside the crowd deeper and deeper till he reaches the starting point where the DJ song plays. When they reached the front, Yajna was holding Nikhil's arms. Yajna said "It's crowded here. We can't even dance"
Nikhil shouted "I can't hear you. The music is too loud"
Yajna leaned closer and shouted "It's not comfortable to danzzz.." When she was talking, the person dashed her from behind accidentally while dancing. Yajna fell into Nikhil's arm and kissed him in the Cheek. Yajna's face is reddened. At the moment, Nikhil's arm is around Yajna's shoulder. Yajna's hand is on Nikhil's chest. She couldn't figure out the heart is beating so fast for Nikhil whether it's because of kiss or its because of bass sound
Yajna slowly stepped away from Nikhil and started dancing. She acts like nothing happened. At the same time, Nikhil is surprised and confused where she is on purpose or in an accident. He danced along with Yajna.
The girl at the front fell down. Nikhil smelled of liquor from a few employees. Nikhil pulled Yajna away from the crowd.
Sravanthi searched for Nikhil in the group and asked Ankur loudly "Where is Nikhil?"
Ankur said "He might around somewhere"
Sravanthi came outside of the crowd, looking for Nikhil. She called him around 10 times and sent around 15 texts. There is no reply for her calls or replies. She doesn't feel like enjoying anymore and left the amphitheatre.
When she was leaving, Nikhil and Yajna came out of the crowd. They did see each other. Yajna asked him "Why did you pull me out? Did you see you were fully sweating?"
Yajna smiled and ran a hand through his hair "You too"
Nikhil smiled at Yajna when she touched his hair. He felt like she is treating him like a kid
Nikhil said "Let's go and have dinner first. It's already 9:40 PM"
Nikhil and Yajna walked to FC4 to have dinner.
Yajna said "I didn't get my wallet"
Nikhil narrowed his eyebrows and widened his eyes asked "Are you serious? I can pay for you"
Yajna said "Only if you allowed me to pay you back. Why do guys have to pay every time?"
Nikhil mocked her "Are you going to pay back including 12,000/- rupees too?"
Yajna said "I will pay 12,000/- next month. Once I get my Salary. No no in installments. Is that Okay?"
Nikhil smiled "You are joking"
Yajna and Nikhil reached FC4. Nikhil gets some water from a 'bluestar stainless steel water cooler' placed at the corner of FC. Yajna said "I am serious. Last time, I don't have enough money. So, I made you pay the bill. Moreover, you are acting like p*****t playboy back then" Nikhil started coughing when she said "p*****t playboy"
"Are you okay Nikhil?" Yajna asked
"I am okay"
At the hand wash place, Nikhil was thinking about 'p*****t Playboy'. Yajna started flashing water on her face, on her neck and wiped her face with Tissue paper.
Nikhil was looking at her absent minded. Yajna looked at him "Nikhil, let's go"
Nikhil holds her hand. Yajna asked "What is it?"
He removed a tissue paper piece stuck in the corner of her face. Yajna smiled "Sometimes I am so clumsy. Thanks"
Yajna and Nikhil went to the counter asked "Chapati with paneer butter masala" and Yajna said "Plain dosa"
Counter person said "Sorry, Dosa is not available"
Yajna said "I too will have Chapathi with paneer butter masala"
Nikhil took his phone and checked there 15 missed calls from Sravanthi and 3 missed calls from Ankur. Nikhil called Ankur from his phone "Ankur, you had dinner?"
Ankur said "Where are you man? Sravanthi was looking for you. She called me 3-4 times to know about you"
Nikhil said "She is really annoying these days"
Ankur said "You know she likes you" Nikhil looked at Yajna. She smiled at him and he smiled back. Ankur continued "and you don't like her. You know I will talk to you later. At Least call her back"
Nikhil said "I will call her back. Okay"
Ankur said "You have to call her right now" Nikhil hangs up the phone call
Nikhil feels annoyed "If I call her now. She will be asking Where am I ? What are you upto? I definitely couldn't call her when Yajna was next to me. Already she thinks me as 'p*****t Playboy' "
Yajna and Nikhil got their food and sat at one of the dining tables.
Yajna looked at her phone and said "I too got a missed call from Poonam, Atshara and My parents"
Yajna's Phone rings, it's her Parents. "Hello Maa. I am having dinner now. You had dinner? I miss you too mom. I coming next week home for Christmas. Hello Dad. Everything is going great. I really felt like I landed in heaven. Mmm. Ok Dad" Yajna disconnected the call.
Nikhil was listening to her conversation and smiled. Yajna said "My parents, they are really worried about me"
Yajna said "Poonam texted me: I am leaving for the day. Good night"
Yajna texted her back "Good night".
They started to dig in the food. Yajna asked "Why are you looking at me?"
Nikhil asked "You are going home for Christmas?"
Yajna asked "Hmm.. Do you want anything from my hometown. I will get it for you"
Nikhil asked "What exactly do you think of me for the first time p*****t Playboy?"
