Ch 10: Girlfriend, Me?

Smile got disappeared from her face. Yajna said with sullen face "I don't think he likes someone"
Mitra said "I think he stops texting you because you crossed the limit"
Yajna asked in a sad face "Am I?"
Mitra said "There might be some chances for you like 0.001 chances he don't like anyone and 0.001 chances he likes you"
Yajna said "So, I had 0.002 chances for me"
Mitra beat her head "Go to sleep now and Nikhil dreams"
Yajna said "You don't have to tell me that, he often comes in my dream" and she bites her tongue. it slipped out of her mouth.
Mitra asked "You said the guy kissed in the party comes in your dream. Don't tell me it is same guy"
Yajna dragged the words and narrowed her eyes and said "Actually….. He is same guy"
Mitra got up from her bed "Oh my Gosh, Why didn't you tell me that first?"
"You think him as a playboy"
"Definitely, he is playing with you. Who will kiss the girl on their first meet without her permission?"
Yajna said "That was a bet."
Mitra said "Don't tell me you started liking him from the moment you kissed him?"
Yajna said "I don't know."
Mitra said "You don't know, fine go to sleep. I felt like he was a two faced person. Be aware of him"
Yajna went to her sleep. Next day morning Yajna woke up and found a "Merry Christmas" text message from Nikhil. At the same time she remembers the words of her sister saying two faced person. She didn't respond to the text and went to take a bath.
Nikhil said to Ankur "She saw my text message but didn't reply to me anything"
Ankur was still in the bed sleeping. Ankur said "Don't disturb me man. Let me sleep for sometime"
Nikhil muttered to himself "Is she angry at me? No No. She can't be angry on me"
Nikhil widened her eyes "Is she taking revenge on me?" Nikhil shakes his head and thinks "She is not that type of person. Let me call her."
Nikhil called Yajna's phone. Mitra took Yajna's phone in the sleep and asked "Hello, who's this?"
Nikhil thinks "It's not Yajna's voice" and asks "Is this Yajna?"
Mitra said in the sleep "I am her sister Mitra. I will let her know once she comes back. Good night"
Nikhil muttered to himself "Mitra…Holy s**t last night Mitra chatted with me. I need to know it's with Yajna's knowledge or without her knowledge"
When Yajna picks up her phone to find Nikhil called her and thinks "I didn't answer his phone. Did Mitra answer my phone? I am done now"
Yajna called Nikhil's phone "Hello, Nikhil"
Nikhil said "Did you give my number to your sister?"
Yajna looks at Mitra and thinks "Look how you are sleeping. Devil. I don't know how much she said about last night while sleeping" and said to Nikhil "I am sorry Nikhil. I didn't mean to do it. It was my sister she pranked on you. I have nothing to do with this. Trust me"
Nikhil laughed silently and said "I will forgive you. If you grant my wish"
Yajna asked "What's your wish?"
Nikhil said "I will ask you later" and thinks "I should not waste the wish asking small things.
Yajna was waiting in the classroom for Nikhil. Nikhil and Ankur came to class at 9:05 AM. Aravind Sir said "Please leave, I don't want late comers in my class. You can join after break"
Ankur and Nikhil left the classroom. Ankur started scolding Nikhil "It's all because of you."
Nikhil said "Today I got a chance to bang the class in Infosys. Let's go to the food court. At least Today we can have breakfast"
After break, Nikhil came to the classroom. Yajna was busy doing assignments. Nikhil asked "Are you purposefully avoiding me?"
Yajna asked "Why should I avoid you?"
Nikhil said "Because you are guilty "
Yajna said "You said you will forgive me if I grant your wish. You didn't tell me your wish to grant it. Moreover Mitra pranked you. It has nothing to do with me"
Nikhil laughed and said "Look at your face". He pinched her cheeks.
Yajna removed his hand from her cheeks and said "The exams are coming up. Don't mock me"
The whole week trainees stayed till 11:00 PM in the classroom for the preparation of exams.
On 31st December . Trainees completed the FA 1 examination Python basics.
Nikhil asked Yajna "What's your plan for New Year's Eve?"
Yajna said "Today, our exams got over. I should get some sleep tonight."
Nikhil said "Save it for weekends. You are spending time with me"
Yajna said "You spend your time with your boyfriend"
Nikhil asked "Boyfriend?"
Yajna said "Ankur is your boyfriend right?"
Nikhil said "He will be busy talking to his girlfriend tonight"
Yajna said "You too spend with your girlfriend"
Nikhil said "That's why I am asking you"
Yajna surprised "Girlfriend, me?"
Nikhil said "It was you said on the party I am your boyfriend"
Yajna said "You know I didn't mean that"
Nikhil asked "What did you mean?"
"Fine, I will spend New Year's Eve with you." Yajna pressing the palms together with the fingertips facing upwards over her head with a slight bow "I bow to you and asking please don't bring the incident happened in pondicherry"
Nikhil asked "What incident happened in Pondicherry ?"
Yajna said "Thank you." and left from the Classroom. Nikhil looked at the way Yajna was leaving
Ankur draped his arms around Nikhil and asked "How did you do your exams?"
"Good. Let's go to FC. "
At 10:00 PM in Ankur room, Ankur asked Nikhil "There will be cake cutting in FC1 at 12:00 PM. Are you going?"
Nikhil said "Tomorrow we have class you should go to sleep too. "
"We used to sleep after 12. Why early today?"
Nikhil said "I am leaving to my room"
"Are you not sleeping here Nikhil?"
"You will talk to your girlfriend for the whole night. So, Have fun with your girlfriend"
Ankur said "I will come to your room after I talk to her" Nikhil thinks "Why don't he understand my sign of avoiding him at this moment? "
Nikhil said "You can't depend on me always. You should learn to sleep alone"
Ankur said "It was you who don't want to leave me alone."
"Was it me?" Nikhil asked. He acted like Ankur was holding onto him and he wanted privacy.
"Nobody can argue with you. I won't disturb you tonight"
Nikhil went to his room and smiled and muttered to himself "Thank god somehow I managed to leave Ankur's room. I was thinking How I am supposed to go out to spend New Year Eve with Yajna without telling Ankur? It's already 10:30 PM. I should text her to make sure she didn't sleep"
Nikhil: Are you sleeping?
The w******p notification from Nikhil popped up on Yajna's phone which is in bed.
Nikhil didn't get any response from Yajna. So, Nikhil called her phone.
Atshara knocked on the restroom door where Yajna was taking shower and called out her name "Yajna..."
Yajna said "What happened?"
"You are getting call from Nikhil"
Yajna turned off the shower, wrapped the towel around her and opened the door. "I could have answered him after shower"
"He called you 3 times already"
Again the phone started ringing. "Give me my phone. I will call talk to him now"
