Waking up with Brynn in my arms, is by far one of the best mornings of my life. Slipping from the bed, I stand and just watch her sleep for a while, before going to the kitchen to make her breakfast.
She has always loved my western omelets, so I make us both one, along with some breakfast potatoes, and of course, bacon and coffee.
When a flash of yesterday after our date comes to my head, and the fact that I didn’t call my mom to tell her I wouldn’t be home last night, I wince. Pulling out my phone that was on silent for our date, I groan.
Eight missed calls and over twenty-five text messages. Mostly, from my mom.
