The trees ripped at my thin nightgown as I ran. The naked skin of my arms and legs getting torn by the sharp branches. The rays of the sun couldn't pierce through the thick, tall forest around me. "Why are you running from me" He asked. His sadistic voice echoes in the forest around me and I look back fearfully. A thick branch smacks me hard in the face, the force of it sends me teetering and I land with a painful thud on the forest floor. He was getting close! The pine needles dig into my palm as I push off from the floor. Adrenaline pumps through me giving me a burst of speed as I sprint off in the forest, away from him.
