Chapter Eight Spring break rolled around far too soon for Aimee. The thought of going home and spending her vacation with all of the boring, politically correct townsfolk she grew up with made her actually dread leaving school. She would be obligated to spend time with her childhood friends, who seemed so much more boring than they used to. Who knew what sort of dull-drum activities they already had planned for her? She prayed it wasn’t another charades party. She tried to think of more interesting things to do on the bus ride home.
