Chapter Twelve “God, this assignment is so boring.” Aimee complained to Rick, her partner. Many of the classes from her school were too small to validate the money spent on them. For those classes the girl’s academy joined with the boy’s academy across the lake. Her Modern Art class was one of those classes. “I know,” Rick replied in a monotone voice, “how we see the world, by Rick and Aimee. What the hell kind of assignment is that? I mean, if we put anything negative on it, you know those nuns and priests will flunk our asses out.” “Yea, but Mr. Felch is okay, I think he’ll be lenient. As long as we come up with a topic. What should we do?” “I’m not sure. How about weight lifting? That’s a positive thing, and I can come up with all sorts of little ways to tie it in to real life.”
