Chapter 9 Family Reunion

Elena Vance's Thoughts

Tom was getting ready for the day and I say "Tom I can feel someone is coming today with important information. We must stay in today." As he is fixing his last attire on he says "Honey I have too many meetings today. Christian is off focus for some reason and everytime I ask him, he just brushes me off. I really am getting tired of it all." I give up because I know what happens to him if he doesn't take care of gus duties. I reply "Ok Tom I will be here and will mindlink you if needed." He kisses me and he is on his way.

Sams Thoughts

Adam mindlinks as I am walking up to the castle "Sam! Where have you been? Have you found her?" I play tired and say "Sire I have looked all night and I haven't found her. I will get Alice to handle your needs today. I need to sleep and I will be off again. I will get Tom for you before I do so." I hear nothing but silence. I say to myself its time...

I run to the west corner where the Vance's resided. I run into Tom "Hey Tom! You scared me.. Hehe. Adam is requesting your presence. By any chance is Elena available?" Tom smiles and replies "Yes Sam she is expecting you." I smile back and tell him to be safe, and he was off. I swear Adrian keeps him busy to keep him blind. I just wish he could see it for himself.

I walk to the direction of Elena room.

I knock before I enter "Hello Mrs. Vances. How are you today?" Elena turns from the window and replies "Hey Sam, I am doing well. Do you have any news for me today?" I took a minute to be in awe of this family works. They are so powerful and no one has tried to take over rule. This is how I know I am doing the right thing.

I start to whisper "Okay I do, but I have to show you I can't tell you. Do you trust me?" I wait for her to answer. "Of course I do Sam. Where are we going?" I answer with a smile "Trust me your going to want to see this." I wait for her to gather her things, and we are off to her daughter for hopefully a happy reunion.

After we are about fifteen minutes out Elena asks tiredly "So can you give me some idea where we are going? It's been about forty five minutes Sam." Elena says tiredly. I reply "Just about a few away." Elena stops in her tracks and say playfully "Okay Sam, I hope they will be able to find my body." I fake laugh back at her "Haha yea that is a good one Elena."

We show up to Savannah cottage. Elena screams out "Sam! Isn't that George, Ian, and Shirley? Why can't they move??" We look into the tress and sure enough I see them frozen in the tree. We walk up to the porch and the hounds were in a protective stance. I have trained these dogs so I say a command "Vivian Doris come." But they both start to growl. I say out loud "Well.. maybe she can handle herself."

Elena asks again "Sam what is going on?" As she asked, Savannah walks out her front door and calmed the hounds down She turns to the men in the trees and in a powerful voice says "Forget me and this location, don't ever return." The men came down from the tree and started walking with the hounds behind them. I thought to myself, she is amazing.

Savannah Thoughts

I know who she is I say to V. V replies yea but... Elena gasps "Cynthia?" With tears forming in her eyes. I reply "Hello Elena. My name is Savannah." She replies "I'm sorry, but you are very familiar to me." I look down and say "I know who you are to me Elena, but I don't know you. My name isn't Cynthia either. The last person I called mother allowed me to get abused and molested. If you don't mind I would like it if you could call me Savannah and I call you Elena.."

Elena comes to me crying and holds me in her arms saying "You can call me whatever you want Savannah, I am just happy your alive and healthy. I am so sorry you went through that horrible child hood. If I knew where you were I would have came and brought you back home. Wait where have you been?"

I have never felt this before. I can feel her genuine love seeping all through her. My heart starts to crack.. Sam says "I know Adam has known for the last three years." Elena looks at Sam with an evil look. He says to her "Im sorry Elena, have you seen Adams abilities?" Elena looks like she is going to bust.

She says lividly "I knew Adrian wasn't a good man, and he shouldn't have been able to get to Adam the way he did. Your father did his best, but no one would listen to him. We need to contact him to inform him of what's going on." I say readily "Where can I find this Adrian?" She replies "No honey, you don't need to come into contact with such an evil man." I reply "I appreciate your concern, but I can handle this."

She replies "Well I am going with you, I do live there after all." I understand what Sam was saying earlier. I take a breathe and reply "We don't need to show up together. We need to figure out a plan to catch him in the act to justify his death."

She says helplessly "My darling the De Graysons are the oldest family out there. They have multiple branches that can cause us a lot of hardships and death upon our family. We need to get everyone we know that will stand with us and go to war." I think about what she is saying for a minute and reply "Let me show you some of the things I am capable of."

I grab her hands and close my eyes. I start to search for my father. I see from earlier "Tom I feel like someone is coming with important information.." I just need to see his face... Gotcha I plant in his head "Tom come and get your wife, she is in danger."

Tom Thoughts

We are finishing up our discussion about the protection and soldiers on this place. Adam says "Okay Tommy I want to know what you know about my fathers death" I reply "Well son, every lead we came up with always ended in their demise. We came close a few times, but again the witness would not come through. As far as I can tell from all the evidence we have gathered throughout the years points to Adrian De Grayson."

Adam replies "Who were the leads? I would like all the paperwork you have. I know my father didn't commit suicide." A voice pops in my head "Tom come and get your wife, she is in danger." I sit there confused because I don't know that voice, but it seems I should. I do my best to keep calm and say "Sire Elena is calling, I will grab that paperwork and bring it to your office no later than 7pm." She is my world I can't loose her. Adam doesn't look happy, but I have to get to her and I have to NOW!

He finally replies "Okay Tommy please be sure to bring the paperwork today. Until then I hope all is well." I get up and leave. As soon as I shut the door. I turn into an eagle and flew toward the love of my heart beat.

I mindlink in a panicked tone "Elena are you ok?" When I hear her voice, it was like the heavens answered my prayer. "Yes honey, follow my heart" I reply "Honey are you in danger? I received a mindlink from a voice that I don't recognize to come and get you that you were in danger"

Savannahs Thoughts

Elena looks at me I'm guessing Tom got my message. She asks surprised "Honey did you send that message to Tom?" I look straight to her face and said "I can do so much more." She looks down and replies "Just because you are powerful doesn't mean you should be alone." I get so upset with her comment. I don't even realize the tone in my voice when I reply back "My whole life I have been around "Family" and there was nothing but heartache and pain. These last 6 1/2 months I have been alone, and it has been the best out of my whole life. Maybe I should forget about this whole thing and go back to my simple free life."

Elena looks at me with devastation in her eyes and as a tears began to really fall she replies "I really pray you don't always feel that way, because rather you like it or not we will be apart of your life." She walks in the house without another word.

Sam says to me "Dang Savannah you shouldn't be so hard on her, she was devastated when you were taken. She would have nightmare about you, she was always saying "Your gonna be great. Don't let anyone take advantage of you. Run don't let them catch you." Just take it easy on her ok."I look down remembering my dreams I say to V she was with us the whole time. She replies ya think? Maybe you should be more considerate of her feelings. Did you see her other memories because I did, and Sam isn't lying.

I reply frustrated Ok V I get your point.. Hold on do you smell that scent? V replies S you should, because it looks like your father is here We look in the sky and see him coming in and shapeshifts before he hits the ground.

He says "Hello madam..Wait what? Sam what are you doing here? Where is Elena? What's going on?"
