Chapter 6 Blissfulness and Immortals

I found a wonderful two bedroom home in a small village. The population was 500 and they all invited me in like I was family from birth. Aunt Vikki and Benedict was the only ones that found me and took me in until I got on my feet. I worked to keep the strays out and protect this town. This is the first family I can accept as mine. I wasn't ready for anything else. But the Goddess of All had other plans... I just didn't know it yet.

The Immortals are an hour away, but I didn't think of them much once I felt the love in the village. Jacob says "Hey Savannah. You ok?" Jacob is Vikki's 18 year son. I can tell he feels some type of way, but I always put him in his place everytime. Not to be mean, but not to lead him on. I valued our friendship.

I reply playfully "I'm doing good Jake. You doing well?" He smiles and replies "I am doing great some friends and I are going skinny dipping. You wanna come?" I shove him away and laugh and say "No sir you have fun. Why don't you ask Carmen? She would love to go with you. She is cute" Jacob smiles and says "Yea but I wish it was you."

I feel bad to have to do this, but he never learns. "Jake go find your mate. I'm not it ok, we are just friends, and it will stay like that Ok." He looks disappointed, but then takes off when his friends showed up...

Six months have passed and I have built an awesome life here. The freedom I have has been life changing have learned a lot about my powers and unconditional love. I never knew how much love could be in a family.

The information I found out about the Immortals confuses me everytime I try to make sense out of it all. One thing was for sure, the Immortals were made up of multiple different breeds of families including mixed breeds. I guess who the Goddess of All sets you up with is the one no matter what they are.

The oldest family is The De Graysons. I say to myself never knew Luciano's family was part of the Immortals. V butts in, and his family has been around for a very long time. I say playfully your telling me, thirty one decades is a veeerry long time.

The De Graysons are mixed Vampire and werewolf. They ruled for one decade before they lost rule due to evil ways by the De Hudson's, but they weren't banished out of the council they were put on the council due to some reason or another. The De Graysons were only able to offer ideas for deals, but never to close on one. Their decision making wasn't that great. The council tolerated them and they have been on the council since the beginning.

The second family is the De Hudson's they are mixed shapeshifter and witch. They have been in rule for thirty long decades of peace, that is until Gregory took his last breathe eighteen years ago. V says Adam De Hudson was born January third? I look at his date of birth and I see the same as mine. I say to V good job catching that little detail.

I say confused "That is so weird because Luciano and I used to celebrate our birthdays together. V asks what's going on? I reply let's see what else we can find V.

Adam De Hudson was attached to his fathers hip from birth up to Gregory's death. V asks If Gregory was such a peaceful person how could Adam turn out the way he has. It looks like Adam was only two when his father passed. He was in line to take over with his younger siblings behind him.

It looks like Adrian De Grayson has been behind him ever since. Tom Vances tried to intervene, but was quickly moved out of the way at one point.

Which brings me to the the third oldest family which are the Vance's. They have been around for twenty five decades. The Vance's are the first real mixed breed.

The mother Elena Vance's is half werewolf and witch, and the father Tom Vance's is half shapeshifter and vampire. They have twelve children that have different powers.

I say to V it seems like they are respectable people. She replies yea for them to have so much power and not have to rule. To be under a family that has rule just because of how long they have been around. I stop her and say it wasn't about power then. It was about respect kindness and loyalty.

Those three families were the only ones in power for 300 years that ruled over the supernatural world. But as the years past after Gregory De Hudson's death more families joined. Now up to date there are over one hundred families that joined for power. More families try to get in every year but one thing you need is a power.

The main council members have to approve if they can utilize you or if your worth keeping. Meaning they have led families to their deaths just to take their power because they could utilize them and the ones worth keeping stays on as soldiers. No one does anything because of the power the Immortals possess.

One thing that stood out the most to me was the fact that the Vance's had their daughter taken from them the day she was born. They didn't have any other information. Which made me wonder how much information was stored in the Immortals castle. I say most in a definite tone we have to figure out a way to get into that castle V. She replies we will S.
