Chapter 4 The Escape

I wake up, and I have no idea how long it's been but I am very dehydrated and starving. I'm guessing its been about 3 days. I hear Alice "Hello Savannah, I have brought you some refreshments and food." She turns on the lights and to my horror I have been in an underground cave of some sort. She walks over and helps me off the ground. She says proudly "My goodness Christian has been having his fun with you.. Your all shakey and bruised pretty bad"

I'm so stunned by her comment I can't even say anything. As she is untying my last rope on my leg. I hit her as hard as I could, and she flew toward the wall getting knocked out. I take off running out the opened door. Nothing looks familiar so I pick a direction and run. There were so many rooms, sitting chairs, and canvass, but I make it to the door to go outside.

But as soon as I open the door I get tackled down. I hear that sinister voice "Where do you think your going?" It's Luciano. I yell "Why are you doing this? I'm no one special, I don't belong here. I NEED TO BE FREE!!" He punches me in my face and knocks me out.

I wake up thinking I would be back in that dark space of a cave, but I am in an actual room that has a bathroom. There are no other type of furniture besides the bed and sofa. I get up to see if any of the doors or windows were unlocked, but to my dismay no. V said angrily "Uggh, we need to get out of here S."

I start to look around, but I don't recognize anything. Why would we? We don't know these people. Almost feels like we are at home minus the molestation and physical abuse. V states as a matter of fact. I yell out "Let me go!!" Then quickly shut my mouth remembering what Christian promised. All I could do was wait and see what will become of me.

Two days passed and no one has come to bother me. V asks Did they forget about us? I try a door and to my surprise it was unlocked. I walk out of the room and felt a chill. It felt like at Lucianos family home at the time of the m******e cold and creepy. I run trying to find an exit. No one is around and I don't even care I just want to get out! Feel the dirt under my paws, feel the fresh air hit my face and fur. Finally I get to an exit and shift as I run out ready to be free. V says happily Yees.

As I start to run I hear a womens voice saying some gibberish I have never heard of, and before I know it I am knocked out again. V asks fading out What the hell.

The soft voice from my dream. "Run don't let them get you"

I wake up and I am still in my wolf form trapped in a cage. Christian asks "Did you really think it would be that easy?" V rolls her eyes and is ready to pounce. He laughs "Oh don't think you will be able to get out that easy"My wolf gets even more frustrated encouraging me Come on S you can do it, I have always believed in you. I know what your capable of.. these men will kill us. Don't give up! You can get us out of here, please believe in yourself.

I say with so much pain "No one has ever showed me how to believe in myself. Your the only one V." V replies sternly "All you need is one S! Just think it and it will happen. I have always believed in you, please believe in yourself!" V is keeping strong for the both of us until I get my s**t together. I go deep into my soul, and I can feel the power within. It has been physically and mentally disabled, but I go past that.. the true strength I have inside opened a door I never knew I had.

I open my eyes and command "Door open" to my amazement the door swung wide open. Everyone started running towards me, but I thought "Yal are disabled" to my very own eyes they all went to the ground howling to the sky in agony. They all were missing their legs. I take off into a direction and don't look back. Except for when I felt someone behind me, but I didn't see anyone, so I kept going until I didn't feel them anymore.

V says excitedly I knew you could do it S! You can do so much more! I say worriedly Where did it come from? I have not ever experienced that before, even after our first shift. V tries to console me Don't worry S everything will work out the way it should. Keep your head up and everything will be ok.

But I can't help to think I have unlocked something that is going to blow my mind. Am I really prepared for what's to come?

I ended up three states away, I had two more states to go to get close to my enemy the Immortals. The plan was to find out as much as I can about them and everyone in it. They wanted to trick me into getting tortured and then trying to kill me at the end. I am done letting everyone do whatever they want to me.

I will take care of myself, it's just me and V. We have survived this long. We will survive for what's to come. I will prevail on my research and revenge. First on the Immortals, then onto my past. No will get away from me...
