Elara's POV After Alexander declares, “We’re in France,” he quickly mutters something that sounds like, “Let’s see how you come get her, loser,” before hanging up and tossing his phone onto the bed. He walks closer to where I’m sitting, a mischievous smile on his face. “It’s a good thing your legs weren’t injured, Elara, because we have a lot to do.” I frown, looking up at him. “What do you mean by ‘a lot to do’?” He’s about to respond, but something clicks in my mind, and I cut him off. “Wait. What do you mean by ‘we’re in France’?” My voice rises, and he raises a brow, clearly amused. “How can we be in France?” I demand. “The last thing I remember, I was in America! And now you’re telling me I’m all the way across the ocean, in France?” I stare at him, trying to wrap my mind around
