Adithi's POV As I woke up to the quiet of the morning, I glanced to my right to see my husband sleeping peacefully, like a contented child. With a tender smile, I leaned down to plant a gentle kiss on his forehead before slipping out of bed, careful not to disturb his slumber. Descending the stairs, I noticed the absence of my father in the house. Puzzled, I checked his room, but he wasn't there either. Thirsty, I made my way to the fridge for a glass of water, only to spot a note affixed to its door. "Adithi, I have urgent matters to attend to at the office.
