  (Elijah's POV)   I watched her, lying there unconscious, and for a moment, I allowed myself to take her in. Her petite body, so delicate, looked like it could break under the slightest pressure, and yet she had been strong enough to stand against me.   That alone pissed me off. I wanted to hate everything about her, to despise the way her dark hair framed her face and fell in waves around her shoulders, but I couldn’t. It drove me insane.
