(Elijah's POV)
I got to the door of the boy's quarters and knocked before pushing the door open.
Vincent was lying on his back, his phone above his face, as heard at the door. I think he was waiting for whoever was behind the door to come in. Immediately he saw me, he sat up.
Nodding slightly at me, “Elijah, You are back already. Welcome, your beta informed me you were out with your mate and so I came in here. I did not expect you back though.” I could see the amusement twinkling in his eyes as he mentioned my mate.
“We left quite early, so it is not a surprise that we are back now,” I said, keeping my face neutral, I refused to smile.
