The doctor closed the door and took scissors to cut off Katherine's clothes. He started cleaning and dressing her wounds, the pain making her shiver all over. Mia's mouth hung open in shock and distress as she repeatedly pleaded, "Doctor, be gentle. It hurts so much!" The doctor didn't respond to her pleas, only sparing her a glance as he said, "I know. Stop shouting." At his words, Mia immediately fell silent. The doctor continued his work, carefully disinfecting the wounds before applying medication and bandages. Then, he handed Mia a set of sterilized hospital clothes. "Help her put these on. Be careful not to touch the wound.
