Chapter 11Monday morning eventually arrived and I wondered what lay ahead as I walked up the stairs to the staff room. Inside already waiting for me were Peter, Tom, Brenda, Ethan and Tang but no Marc. Uh oh I thought I do hope he’s not done a runner because of me. However hot on my heels Marc came bounding into the room wishing us all a good morning, apologised for being late and threw me a wink to say everything’s cool between us.
