Felix dashed from the shower and into his bedroom. The last pile of reports had of course taken much longer than he’d anticipated and while they hadn’t agreed on any time, he wanted to get to Kirk’s as soon as possible. They way he’d paled in the ice cream shop had been on Felix’s mind all day. He was pretty sure it was due to his injuries, but what if it was Felix talking about Sunny? What if it reminded him of his cat? He should tell him about the car accident, but how could he now when he wasn’t sure the cat was still buried in his backyard.
