Chapter 6 The next morning, Felix went for a run. He couldn’t remember the last time he had, but his kitchen was filled with strangers—okay, two guys were destroying his floor. But he couldn’t have breakfast like he was used to, so getting out of their way seemed like a good idea. He jogged through the small forest behind his house, enjoying the twittering birds until his panting overrode their song. There wasn’t any real trail to follow, but the wood was lovely, and the moss-covered ground soft under his feet. It would turn into another hot day.
