Mom called me. She said she wants to see me but I didn't want to go home because I am not ready to see my father after the heated argument between us the other day.
Mother said it was urgent and I wonder what it can be, I just hope she is fine, deciding to go see her the following week.
It is a Monday morning and I have a lot on my desk. I was informed that the date for the award has been announced already and it is fast approaching. I am not taking any action towards it yet, I am just hoping I will be lucky to get the award.
I am trying to finish up my work for today so I can go for the business meeting in Boston. My flight has been booked for 2 pm. My phone rings and I pick it up, shifting my gaze from the laptop in front of me.
