For a reason unknown to me, they increased the security at William’s pack house. More guards patrolled the area surrounding the pack house, including the entrances they rarely used. I instantly knew that trying to sneak in would be a bad idea. I was just one wolf. Despite being an Alpha by birth, I wouldn’t be able to fight off a squadron of trained warriors if they were to subdue me. And if I fought against them, they wouldn’t hesitate to kill me as I was an outsider. Although I had lived in the human city for a long time, I hadn’t forgotten the rules of the wolf’s territory. They would kill an outsider on sight if they fought. And despite being their Luna’s uncle, I would be no exception since I hadn’t submitted to their Alpha.
