I thought Helena was suffering from a cardiac arrest when she clutched her chest and dropped to her knees in pain. When they told me about experiencing their soulmate’s pain, I didn’t think one could feel it to that extent.
Everything that happened after that happened in a rush. Since I didn’t want to cause any disturbance, I didn’t interfere with them. I didn’t meddle with their work and made myself and Archie as small as I could. They had enough going on in the pack already. William was shot, and although I didn’t remember much about him, I was saddened about it. He was a nice guy, and I wish Asher hadn’t done that. Or at least he missed the shot.
I thought that was all that could happen in a wolf pack when I got unexpected news. My mate was in the Opal Moon pack. Helena
