Chapter 12 – Outsmarting Rivals

259 Words
Evelyn Shaw sat in her office, her eyes fixed on the computer screen. Every move of the international design firm rival had been anticipated. “Adrian, this time they are attempting a talent poaching strategy, trying to lure our top designers to their side,” Evelyn said calmly, her tone firm and resolute. Adrian stood beside her, his gaze full of trust. “Don’t worry. I’ll support your plan and help protect our core team.” Evelyn nodded slightly, directing her team to adjust their strategy: optimizing contract terms, improving employee benefits, holding internal creativity competitions to motivate designers, and secretly gathering intelligence on the competitor. Every step was meticulously planned, both protecting the company’s core assets and gradually turning the market situation in their favor. A few days later, the rival’s plan completely failed. Not only did they fail to poach any designers, but they also exposed their own mistakes in the international market. Evelyn announced the victory within the company, and her team applauded, admiring her wisdom and composure. At night, under the soft office lights, Adrian approached Evelyn and whispered, “You’re not just my partner; you’re the strongest woman in my heart.” Evelyn smiled faintly, resting her head on his shoulder. “With you by my side, I have even more courage to face whatever storms come in the future.” This time, she had not only safeguarded her company’s interests but also demonstrated the wisdom and abilities she had accumulated from her past life, allowing both her love and career to flourish simultaneously.
