After the competition, Evelyn Shaw finally felt a moment of peace. Yet, the undercurrents of the high society world had never truly subsided. Serena, though defeated, still harbored jealousy and resentment within the family.

Evelyn returned to her office, organizing files and designs from the competition, replaying every detail in her mind. She knew from past experience that victory alone was not enough; vigilance was still required.

“Mr. Cole, you’re here at the right time,” Evelyn said, looking up to see Adrian Cole standing at the door, his gaze filled with concern and affirmation.

“You did wonderfully, Evelyn,” he said, stepping closer, his voice low and warm. “But the high society world will never easily forgive someone as capable as you. Are you ready?”

Evelyn nodded, her eyes gleaming with determination. “I’m used to facing challenges. This time, I won’t back down.”

Meanwhile, Serena plotted in the shadows, attempting to regain family power by colluding with external business forces. Evelyn had anticipated this, and with calm strategy, she neutralized Serena’s final scheme.

As night fell, Evelyn stood by the floor-to-ceiling window of her office, gazing over the city. The fear, betrayal, and failures of her past life had finally transformed into her strength.

Adrian approached, gently taking her hand. “The future won’t be yours to fight alone. I’m here with you.”

Evelyn smiled softly, her eyes firm yet tender. “From now on, I control my destiny—and I’m willing to walk beside you.”
